Love this stuff
I have shoulder pain that is pretty unbearable at times. This is the only stuff I have found that is able to actually take care of it for a few days. It does smell strong and a little bit goes a loooong way. I use gloves when applying it. Putting it on my shoulder does make my eyes burn a little bit for a while but the pain relief is absolutely worth it. The smell isn't bad at all just sharp. It comes out as a clear gel that melts very quick. After rubbing it in it doesn't leave you sticky or oily/greasy like some other products. I've gotten it on my clothes and after going through the wash you can't even tell. Love this stuff and keep it constantly stocked in my home. 10/10 recommend.

Salonpas Pain Relieving Gel
This stuff works! It comes in a tube and is in gel form. It melts VERY quickly, so be prepared to massage it into your aching muscles immediately out of the tube! It does have a potent menthol/camphor smell, so don't use too much, or near your eyes or mouth. I feel it works better than the patches. Although it can be a tad messier and maybe not as convenient as the pads, I find the extra relief to be worth it!

Helps Pain
I like that the Salonpas Deep Relieving Gel soothes my arthritic and tendon pain. I have learned that a little goes a long way. I dab on a little rather than rubbing in a larger quantity. Dabbing also ensures that the watery gel doesn't drip. I have sensitive skin and have learned that I can apply the gel to certain areas, like my back, neck, and shoulders. I cannot use the gel on any area that has thinner skin, like my hip area, or it burns my skin. The smell is strong, but I am sensitive to strong smells, and I still use it in spite of the smell. I have also learned to wash my hands well after appling the gel, so that there is no accidental transfer to my eyes.
