What I liked most about these pencils was that they came pre-sharpened! I included sharpeners in the Operation Christmas Child boxes for our kids, but starting out with sharpened pencils is optimum. These were also good quality pencils, number 2 and good for school use too. Also came in three basic colorful patterns. Well worth the money spent--as each child was able to have three. Very happy with this purchase, and I highly reccommend this product for it's quality and price.

I keep these colorful pencils in a metal straw dispenser. When kids earn rewards, they get to dispense a pencil and sharpen it in my cool automatic robot sharpener. These have ben a huge hit! Great price too for so many wooden pencils. I bought these pencils in particular because they are solid woof and the design is painted on. I HATE the pencils that have the design applied with a plastic wrapped wooden core. Any teacher will tell you, the plastic destroys out sharpeners, and the student peel off he design and you find plastic coils of wrapping all over the floor! Then you students are left with a plain white pencil.

These pencils were a great value and the students love them when they are Super Leader of the week!
