Perfect for transitioning away from metal coffee and tea tools. The handle is well constructed, but I always give support underneath with potholder when full and heated. Temp safe, looks beautiful, safe, and does the job.**UPDATE** Just over two months and this has cracked while heating. Did not shatter or make a mess, just cracked across the bottom. We had not bumped it or dropped it, so not sure what happened. We used this on the stove every morning up until then with no issues. RIP cool, pretty kettle. Will not be replacing. I will just continue to use my Visions Ware pots and enamel coated Corning Ware kettles for heating water metal-free.

Anyone that disagrees with this review probably just doesn't understand the physical limitations of this item. It's medium wall thickness borosillicate glass: it can break and crack if mistreated. The handle is nylon: it can melt if mistreated. Glass expands and contracts as it heats and cools: this is normal and will cause the handle to change in tightness.That said.... I make the absolute best ice tea by the gallon in this thing twice per week for more than a year now. My ice tea is so good, we don't get tea from any restaurants or stores because my tea is that much better.This teapot is perfect just the way it is and I'm buying a backup because I never want to be without my tea.

It’s large enough to boil water for a large pot of tea. The Neck is wide enough that you can place your hand inside to clean the mineral deposits off the bottom. The handle feels sturdy.

I like a glass tea kettle so I can see when it needs cleaned of if something fell into it. This one fits the bill. What I don't like is the handle. It needs to be a little longer to counter the weight of a full tea kettle. Also it does not feel right with my large hands.

I should have known not to buy something with no reviews. I got it on Dec. 17th. On Dec. 26th I noticed the handle was extremely loose. The next day, there was black all over the glass pot. The handle was literally melting! I'm just glad I didn't give it as a gift. Probably the worst product I've ever gotten from Amazon.

This tea kettle looks great! and pours nicely too If you're having issues cleaning it, invest in a bottle brush or put it in the dishwasher. It cleans up great!

I like the tea pot however the ring you need for using with electric ranges was missing.
