So far so good. Great price. Came with and extra set of replacement heads. My son is new to drumming, but they sound good to me when he is playing.The finish is nice, the hardware is sturdy. They look great sitting in his room.Definitely a good investment for beginners. So glad I found these and didn't have to drop 800$ + on a set when I wasn't sure if he would even play them, but so far he is taking to it very quickly!

I played drums for a long time and OK they’re not expensive but they sound amazing and they are definitely high-quality and they look absolutely great and every single part is included. I was scared cause I couldn’t find the key, but it was hidden in one of the bags lol They sound great for that price. It’s crazy.

These are definitely a great set of drums for beginners. They sound great. I'm not looking to create a band or anything, just wanting to enjoy playing along with music/ creating my own music. If you have anyone in your house/family who is also interested in music and has another instrument (guitar, keyboard) and you just want to play around creating music then this is an awesome set. Assembly and set up was about two hours, not very difficult 🙂

UPDATE: Still happy with this. Upgraded the cymbals (planet z pack), got a half tambourine attachment, cow bell (not shown in pics). Both my son and I use it everyday, and at the price point, we can bang it up without me sweating having to get another or new set. Just small upgrades as enthusiasm grows, and practice is daily, makes this set a great deal for beginners.Very happy with this purchase. Bought this for my son as well as myself as we both are diving into this musical realm. I play guitar, so learning this is very different and definitely fun.Assembly: I am not a handy man by any means and don’t do well even with instruction as far as set up. It took a good few hours to get it up and rolling. Patience is key. Watched a video on YouTube on how to set up a 5 piece drum set. It’s was very valuable in terms of set up and helpful notes not listed in the instructions that comes with the set.Playability: for beginners. This is a fine set. I can hear it’s not top quality, but it’s definitely good enough to learn on and by no means does it sound bad. It’s important to watch some video instructions on tuning your set. I hadn’t even thought about tuning a drum set, just knew about tuning guitars and pianos.Once everything is set up and tuned to the best of your ability, this set can crank out some noise! You can set the height for everything, so you can tailor the layout that feels and works best for you.Additional note: I bought a set of noiseless drum covers for playing late night without shaking the neighborhood. They reduce the noise up to 90%. While this was a seperate purchase, I feel it’s a necessary thing to have.Overall we are having a blast with this. It’s beautiful looking, plays as it should within the price range it currently sells for. If your new to drumming and want to start playing beyond a simple drum pad (which is also great to have and practice on), this is an excellent starting point for young kids and adults alike. You can find junior sets on Amazon too for very young kids,, but kids grow out of them fast, and the quality won’t be there.I love this set, I feel it’s worth every penny so long as whoever is using it practices and plays frequently. This gets the job done while being super fun!

This is the best set, price-wise, for a beginner or someone with a little experience. It's made well, but has a lot of parts that have to be assembled and tuned, and it only comes with hi-hat cymbals and a crash cymbal. I also purchased a 20 inch ride cymbal to fully complete the set. It sounds good and there are plenty of instructional drum books on Amazon and many online teachers, some with a few free lessons. C'mon, admit it, you want to bang on the drums all day. At least I do.

Item as described and just right for his age and size. Took less than 20 minutes to set it up and away he went! Shipping was fast and packaging was durable. Was watching for this sale!

basic tubs were great ,not the best hi-hat or bass drum pedal ,but overall a good buy

This is a beautiful drum set and it's my daughters first one. She loves it. Unfortunately it didn't come with any instructions or papers to assemble it and it takes a lot of assembly. We found a youtube assembly for a 5 piece drum set and tried to learn from that. So greatful that the drum set comes with extra heads because her Tomtom head already busted a hole in it from barely tapping on it. We will take it off and put a new one on. Through all the trials still looking forward to rocking these drums out
