You could flip the case open and fold it back to make a stand. Couple problems though, the kid who mainly uses it often had trouble getting the case folded just the right way to make it stand up. And second, the case lasted less than a year and started falling apart. Bought this to replace it and I wish I'd just bought this one to start. The feet on the back are super easy to open and close and the whole thing is made of a spongy yet firm foam material that is very protective if my kids were to drop it. So when I bought a tablet for my daughter I wanted to insure I was not wasting my money. Case is a thick lightweight foam material and there is plenty of protection around the tablet especially around the screen. Comes with a strap as well. Descent price too. I ordered this case to put the Kindle in for our 4 year old. Since there is no screen protection we haven't used it. We received it on time so that's a plus. Once I opened it and saw that there was no screen protection I put it back in the package and into a closet. I should have returned it but didn't want to go through all the hassle. Pretty disappointed with this purchase and the fact that I will have to order something else.
