Man Walks into a Bar : The Ultimate Collection of Jokes and One-Liners

This title,and the sequel "Man walks into a bar 2", were bought for my (Senior secondary age )son to do a short standup comedy routine for the end of semester concert. "Man walks into a bar" was the best of the two titles. The audience for the concert of secondary school students, parents and teachers, had to be kept in mind,and any "blue" etc jokes not used. The evening went very well, fun had by all.p.93 "What's the difference between a hamster and a cow? Cows survive branding."

This is a great book for the price. Its a really thick book full of good jokes.They are not kids jokes, some of these I have heard from some of the old classic comedians.They are not blue or offensive (I am probably wrong on that, as some may he considered non PC). Its definitely not a joke book for young children.It always brings a smile to my face reading through this book. And some of the jokes I have had to share, definitely jokes for the pub.

As expected .Good old fashion jokes ..good old jokes before good politics came in to it ! People are reviewing it and saying it's not correct ..gods sake it's old jokes .yes they slag of the Irish and being blond .but I'm Irish and blond and found it funny .

loads of jokes, even my wife thought they were funny and she does not usually find my joke telling entertaining, I used to own the worlds worst joke book so I cant blame her. will give hours of fun.

Someone bought this for me a few years ago and I have laughed at it many times since, even the same jokes come back as funny after a while, and with a few thousand to work through it does tend to keep itself fresh. If you don't like "rude" jokes there will be many no-go areas in this tome but, for me, it's all good.It is the first in a series and I would counsel sticking to volume one, this one. All the really good stuff is piled in here and it makes a great thing to dip into - less of a coffee table book, more of a bathroom cabinet book... if you want your mood lifted by a few daft jokes, its far less bother than asking a friend to come over.

Its a joke book with the usual mixture; some mildly funny, some not.
