Don't understand the negative reviews
I had oil stains on my old concrete driveway that I tried various remedies I saw online--baking soda, kitty litter, Simple Green and none worked. I gave this a try an at first I was dubious--the application is a little odd and it made an ugly mess until it dried. I scraped it off and it looked like the stain was still there. I washed it down with soap, water and a broom. and it looked like it left a lighter patch on the concrete. That was in 2016 and now I can't even tell exactly where the stain was. It requires patience and a little time, but now my driveway is immaculate.

Will your concrete look like virgin concrete again? No. But it's an improvement
My wife's car lost nearly a quart of Mobile One synthetic after the mechanic didn't properly tighten the drain plug. The oil pooled on the unfinished (meaning rough, not polished) garage floor. I threw a handful of sawdust to get up as much of the liquid as possible, but there was a stain, probably two square feet in size. I started looking for a solution to the stain, so nearly two weeks passed before I got Pour-N-Restore from Amazon. It took nearly a week from seller to me. I had to wait a couple of more days for the temperature to get above 50F, to meet the requirements on the bottle. One bottle doesn't quite cover two square feet, by the way, so plan accordingly. I pour it all on the stain and used a paint scraper to spread it about 1/8" thick. The liquid dried to a powder and I left it undisturbed for two days before using a stiff brush to sweep it up. The stain was "bleached" out somewhat, but nothing even close to the 'virgin' concrete next to it. Some reviewers mentioned the odor. To me it smelled like strong bleach cleaner (like Comet or Ajax) and wasn't objectionable at all.Would I recommend it? Maybe, but I'd ask what your expectations were first. Does it work better than kitty litter. Yes, I'd say it does. Would I purchase it again? Maybe, but only for a much smaller spill. My next step is to wait for a warm day and hit it with my pressure washer, then toss kitty litter on it for the long haul.In summary, this stuff is just okay. I'd hoped for a better result, but hey, it's oil and porous concrete...not a match made in heaven.

Works well
I had just changed the oil in my car and due to company, I couldn't park in my garage. I parked on our driveway which is on a slight incline. Some oil had leaked onto our 3 year old driveway but I didn't see it until I left for work the next day. No time to do anything then but I remembered seeing a commercial for this product. The commercial said it was sold at Home Depot. When I went there after work, I found out they only sold it online. Instead of ordering it there, I just went on amazon and found it. The reason for the long story is to say that the oil had been on my driveway for about 5 days before I could treat it. I believe this product worked well. The stain is not completely gone but it is very faint. I wish I could have had this on hand so I could have treated it immediately. Also, the driveway had not been sealed (my fault) which would have helped as well. I bought two bottles but only used one so if this happens again, I'll be ready to treat it immediately.

Somewhat disappointed with its performance
Somewhat disappointed with its performance. OK on light stains but not dark stains where car had dripped oil for some time. The instructions do say that heavy stains may require a second treatment. However, given the little coverage I got from the first bottle, I decided to try something else. So, rather than a second coat, I used 100% TSP and scrubbed. That did the job. On some other stains that I had not used the pour-n-restore on (due to limited coverage) I first used TSP. It did OK on the light stains but again only made a marginal difference on the really dark stains. On these stains, I then tried WD-40. In combination the TSP and WD-40 worked quite well, especially after I washed off the WD-40 residue with soap and water. I think it would have been more effective using the WD-40 first.

Something that actually works!
An amazing product that really works. I spread this all over an old oil stain on the driveway, and the stain is just about gone. And we are talking about a stain that’s been there for YEARS. However, I used the “I forgot about it” method, which means that I left the product on the stain for over a week before I removed it. I think it had something to do with the fact that the front of my car totally covered the spot and prevented me from seeing this little project-in-the-works. When I finally remembered about it and used a broom to sweep off the powder, the results were extremely impressive. I did not buy a big enough bottle to do the whole stain, so I will just get a bigger bottle, and keep on applying this and sweeping it off until I am satisfied with the result. For an oil stain that has soaked into concrete and then weathered the 4 seasons for years, it’s probably realistic to say that you will need to treat the spot more than once, but eventually, this product WILL remove the stain off of concrete.

Was very happy with the results
Had a very old motor oil stain on a cement driveway, tear drop shape, 2 foot wide, 3 foot long. I had washed the spot 3 - 4 times a year, for several years with dawn dish soap. Each time the stain got a little lighter, some areas more than others. Used pour-n-restore as per instructions. Let dry for 24 hours. Was very happy with the results. The lighter areas (outer edge) came out looking about the same color as the surrounding cement. The inner darker area came out pretty good, still has a light ghost like shadow deep down, surface has a chalky grey color on the surface. Still have about 1/3 of the bottle left. I'll wait 6 months or so, give it another dose. Very happy with the results.

Best I have ever used.
Did not get up all traces of my oil spill, but got the raw oil out of the driveway cracks and generally did a good job. It is the only product that I have ever used that did as good. Only traces remain, sort of like a photo of the spill, but not any oil that you can rub off with your fingers or a rag. I came close to giving this product five stars.I put down cat litter and ground it to a powder under my shoe; let it set for a couple of days. Swept up the litter and poured Pour-N-Restore on what remained (oozing from the cracks). Waited about seven hours at the end of which the product had dried into a chalky cake. Scraped the cake into power and swept up the powder.
