Oasis OH1 Guitar Humidifier with OH-2 Digital Hygrometer

This is my second Oasis humidifier. The first one was quite old so it was time for an upgrade, and I figured I'd get a hygrometer to go along with it. I'm not sure if the hygrometer needs to be calibrated, as the humidity keeps reading at around 30%. I know the ideal humidity is 40-50%, so it could be that it's just too dry because it's winter. The humidifier is definitely working though, as I've measured with and without. So, the jury is still out. 4 out of 5 stars for now.

I've two of the OH1's for my guitars and they're fantastic. I picked up the second one with the OH-2 hygrometer as I suspected the humidity in my house to be far too low but wanted to put a number on it. Sure enough it was in the single digits at one point. I've since used this info to correct that. It's a fantastic tool though I'm not fond of the mounting options for it. Most of the time it stays out of my guitar cases as I'm confident the OH1 is doing a fine job humidifying.

Everything worked as described. The humidifier sat in between my strings firmly but not so firm I was concerned about stretching my strings. Took about 2 weeks for the humidifier to go dry due to the humidity in my house registered at 47 to 53. Great tool!!

I really don't have anything to compare it to. I just bought my second guitar, a Martin and didn't want to take any chances of doing irrepairable harm due to dryness. Keeping my fingers crossed I made the correct choice.

Velcro came loose after 2 weeks in the case. Hygrometer does seem very cheap. If I were to purchase again I would go for the humidifier without the sensor. Humidifier seems to be doing it's job well.

For those dry winter months, a good guitar needs a good humidifier -- this works. The Hygrometer increases the cost but in my view it's well worth it to know the humidity level!!!

Item came fast and was as advertised. Great service. These humidifiers are the the best. Going through seconds set. Easy to use.

This product works great and there are no worries of water ever leaking into your instrument. It keeps my guitar at about 42% humidity all the time (in the case).
