A Solid USB-C Hub At The Right Price!
Since the new MacBook Pro’s only have USB-C Ports you have to have some sort of adapter to add other peripheral devices. The 9 in 1 USB-C Hub from Komkaer can absolutely speed up and make your workflow more efficient. Also, at $50 compared to the Hyper Drive’s that are double that price, this is definitely a product to look into. My Pros: -An additional USB-C input (since the Hub uses one on your device) -Not 1 or 2, but 3 (!) USB-A inputs (This allows me to charge my phone, connect my flash drive and my external hard drive to simplify my workflow -4k HDMI output to connect to an external monitor -The hub does not get hot while using for long periods of time as some in the same price range do -Fast data transfer speeds -MicroSD card slot to transfer from my GoPro -SD Cared slot to easily transfer from my camera -Solid build. Does not feel cheaply made and has that anodized aluminum look to match my MacBook nicely My Cons: -My only Con is that this hub is made like a dongle and even though the chord has a decent length to it, most of the time my laptop is on a stand and I am using an Apple Magic Keyboard and TrackPad the hub will not reach the table when connected. It just kind of dangles down about a quarter of an inch off the table. I understand this will not be an issue for most and its more of an inconvenience than an actual problem. I have been using this for just a little over a week now and I am very much enjoying it. I typically use Bluetooth headphones, but I have connected a pair to the audio jack in the hub and it works fine. I have not used the the ethernet jack to hardwire to an internet connection, so at the moment I cannot tell you how that works but lists it will have up to a 1000Mbps connection. This Hub is a must own for the price and will absolutely make your working experience more efficient. Being a YouTuber, it has simplified my workflow. It has become a mainstay in my gear bag. Once I do a full review of this product on YouTube I will try and link the video to this review.

A Quality Hub that adds Mobility and Function to Laptops
I was in the market for a USB-C hub for my laptop that I use for work. I came across this product and I thought I would give it a try. I work Friday through Sunday so I gave myself a few weekends of work to get used to the product. First thing you notice is that the product feels very nice. There weight makes sense for the size of the product and the brushed metal body feels good to hold as needed. The lettering of Komkaer in the body is high quality and doesn't feel like it would flake off. My only concern with the design is that the initial USB-C cable that you would plug into your device is odd because it is attached to the hub itself and doesn't plug in. If this isn't a huge concern, then you likely won't have an issue with this feature. The hub itself has 9 different ports. An audio (3.5mm) jack, and Ethernet port, 2 forms of SD card ports, 3 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, and an additional USB-C port. I will admit I did not get to use the Ethernet port before this review not did I have a need for the HDMI port at the time of writing this. The audio jack worked great and instantly recognized my headphones, although it did not make them the default audio player. I believe if your laptop or device didn't have speakers I would make the headphones the default players, however. The USB 3.0 ports and SD ports handled my flash drive well and handled transferring files of 95 mb/s well enough (that's the rate that was on my flash drive and SD card). I used the USB-C port to keep my phone charged while I was at work and it worked well for transferring photos to my laptop from work as well (my line of work has me taking pictures on the job a lot). Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It performs how I need and expect it too. $50 can seem steep for this type of device but it beats having to buy a dock for a laptop. The fact that it makes your laptop mobile still while adding these extra ports is another huge advantage. I would recommend this product if you are needed to add extra capacity to your laptop beyond the few provided ports on most USB-C devices.

Works as advertised!
This thing really packs a punch! I've been using it for about a week so far and it's a great little device. All ports do exactly what they're supposed to. I currently have it attached to my new iMac to make it easier to plug things in and out without having to reach around the back of the screen. I use the SD card slot a lot and the read and write speeds work as if it's attached directly to the computer. The USB ports all work like a charm. I use them to plug my phone in as well as my microphone for when I record voice overs for my youtube channel. The USB Type C slots also work great. I also plugged an HDMI cable from the hub to a second monitor and it displays perfectly. The headphone jack does the job as well. The only port I don't use is the ethernet port only because I am using it directly with my iMac where I can plug my cable into the back and leave it there. Otherwise I'm sure it works the way it should if I choose to use it with a laptop. The Hub is relatively compact and should fit in any bag. It seems to be built with durability in mind. Super light and won't feel like a burden to bring around on trips to the coffee shop. I would definitely recommend this to any content creator or whoever needs some extra ports. Especially with those newer macbooks with only a few usb type c slots. It's a little bit pricey for an accessory, but definitely worth the price considering how much some of the other hubs on amazon cost!
