Arcadia Ceramic Lamp Holder Plus Bracket Pro

I should have known better than to have not bought a Arcadia to start with. Alittle more money but exellent value and no issue.plus I like the longer cable to it .

i had this product before and it got 3-4 years out of it before it wasn't getting as hot as it should be, tried switching the bulbs, plugs etc but it was the holder because when I switched to the new one its getting back up to the temps it should be

Has been really handy over winter to keep my tortoise warm. It does feel a bit flimsy and mindful that it does get very hot and stays very hot for several years after. Functions well, looks nice and screws bulb in easily. Great fit.

The holder works perfectly with my Ceramic heat emitter and keeps the bulb far more stable than others I have tried. I cannot comment on longevity as I've only had this in use for around a month but so far so good.

I bought this as I’ve upgraded my snake vivarium. Have to say that I’m not that impressed. Opened the box to find there were no screws to attach to the top of the viv. Fortunately I had some small ones from a previous item. The unit looked okay but the wire attached the ceramic fixing was bent at an angle where it wouldn’t lie flat so I’ve had to manipulate it slightly in order to put the screws in place in the bracket. The ceramic holder itself won’t budge easily and I was worried it would break otherwise I wouldn’t have needed to worry about the wire. I would recommend that you either fit this before adding the top to a new viv/tank or have someone to help you. Lots of swearing went into fitting it. We’ll see how long this lasts.

Very easy to install and does the job. Still early days, but does exactly what I need it to do.

Great product i would use for my osb terrarium. Unfortunate this came with a UK plug to belgium 😅. I think the add may have mentioned the plug was UK design.

I bought this oer Amazon.de (Germany, also living in Germany) But it came with UK plugs which is okay since its an UK manufactuerer i guess, so i had to get another heat resistant cable and connect that one. For the T5 UVB kit though, it came with the right Plugs so i was a bit confused... So far i have been satisfied with Arcadia Products, but would write an update if my opinion would change.
