I'm a 5'9" lady and carry some extra weight so I ordered the XL. The costume fit great. The striped, stretchy pants stop at my ankles and the black shoe covers hide the length so it worked well. If the pants are too long, they can be rolled up. The waist of the pants were not of quality elastic and the pants would begin to slide down. If I had a lot of walking to do, I may have needed to figure out a way to keep them up. This might not be an issue for a thinner person. The dress fits well and the sleeves are long enough for my arms. A shorter person would find the sleeves long. The belt is foam so I was delicate with it. The belt is for decoration so with that in mind, it looks nice and works well. The hat has a webbed lining in it and fit perfect. The shoe covers are open underneath with an area to slide the toe of your shoe in and have an elastic band to wrap around the bottom of your shoe. There is also a tie at the top that goes above your ankle.I wore this costume twice for about 8 hours each time in two Christmas parades. I received a lot of compliments on the costume from both adults and children. It was a great value and I would buy it again!

I ordered a L/XL. I am 5'5", 190lbs with thick thighs. The leggings were a bit snug on my thighs but the dress covered that. The dress fit perfectly with room to breathe. It is long enough to cover my butt. The belt gives you more of an hourglass figure. The fabric is soft and comfortable. The Elf shoes slipped right over my tennis shoes. The hat is simple and cute. Love it!

Would have given 5 stars if the belt had not been missing with my order. I ordered the large/extra large and it fits perfectly with plenty of breathing room without looking sloppy. I am 5’3”, 165 lbs., and DD. The quality overall is better than I expected since it is a costume. Is not see through and plenty long enough. The leggings fit okay. Are a little loose, but I like that better than to tight. Would recommend!

This is a great costume for the cost. I am a 5’7” female, 140 lbs. The hat is cute, body of costume is velveteen and sturdy, belt IS styrofoam underneath but held up fine, shoe coverings stayed put and held up well. My only negative comment is that the tights are short waisted. I have thin legs and was able to wear them, but thick legs and a taller person could not wear the small. For me, that is the ONLY negative comment. I had a cheap pair of leggings as back up, but the ones with the costume held up. The costume itself, very very comfortable. I ordered a small/medium.

This is a great costume! It does run quite large. I'm glad I read another review saying they ran large because was going to order the large but decided to change to S/M. I'm 5'2" and 165 lbs, so I'm not a tiny person, and the small/medium is still big on me but that makes it comfortable to wear. The shoe covers can be stuffed with paper (or whatever) to make the curly ends stand up as shown in the pic. The belt does seem fragile but looks cute. I will use it. All in all, I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Great costume! Other than the really flimsy foam belt, the dress and hat are a very good quality. I'm 5'6, 135 lbs and the small fits great. Without the belt it's loose, but the belt works well enough. The tights are kinda chintzy, and don't have much stretch, but they fit me fine. All in all, I'd say this costume is worth the cost.

Great quality and fits perfectly (i'm an 18/20 and 5ft 6" to give you an idea for size). Shoe covers however are quite big as i'm only a size 4 they would probably fit someone in a 6 +. Over all great coatume and came really quickly too and had no hassle with service. One happy customer here!

Love this costume. comes with the hat, dress, belt, boot covers and leggins. I bought the elf ears, gasses and white tutu underneath to add more character. Really happy with this one!

A beautiful costume. I ordered the smaller size thinking it would be OK as it was just described by two sizes. However when it arrived packaging had both male and female sizing and small to medium was size 8-10 (I think) and unfortunately I haven't been that for long time 😁. Return was easy and refunded really quickly. Re ordered and it again was with me in less than 48hrs. Very happy with it now. Bring on Elf Day
