Iwako30 Assorted Eraser, Animal Collection (30 Items Will Be Randomly Selected from Image Shown)

I have a few of these Japanese-designed erasers from when I was in high school, and I really liked how they look. I rarely erased with them (although they erase just fine), but I loved looking at them and fiddling with them (they come apart and you can put them back together).What I purchased them in bulk for is for my students. I have my students typically for two years, 9th and 10th grade, and on their birthday in 10th grade (the last year I have them) I let them choose a birthday eraser. It's cute, it's relatively cheap, and it's something fun for their birthday even if they don't have any plans at home. The variety is always nice, and the quality is there. :)

I ordered these for my daughter to give her kindergarten classmates for her birthday celebration. It was my way of making myself feel good as a parent by giving away "school supplies" instead of a sugary treat. They were a big hit. Several other parents in the classroom told me how much their child enjoyed taking them apart and playing with them. I am pretty sure that few are actually using them as erasers though. I ordered a total of 50 erasers (a 20 pack and a 30 pack), and I only received 2 sets of exact duplicates. I did get an additional 2 sets of ones that were the same animal but in different colors. I told both of my kids that they could pick 3 each before I put the rest in to cute little baggies for the class. It took them about an hour to decide because their were so many wonderful options. The details on the erasers are great and even though they do come apart they will not just fall apart on their own. They stay together really well.

These erasers are so cute! I bought them to use as rewards during homeschooling. There is a great variety. I don't think I saw any duplicates. They are individually packages, which is great for tossing them in our prize box. I wouldn't buy them for the sole purpose of erasing. They have multiple pieces, so until pieces get lost, they are little figurine toys. Then unlike a puzzle that is useless if you lose a piece, these can still be useful as erasers.

These erasers are very cute and just the right size but I took off one star first of all because the other photos the packaging looks different and doesn't have the iwako logo on it. My daughter saved her money to get these and was very anxiously waiting for them and we got them today. She was hoping for the dark blue shark/whale, green alligator, a hedgehog, two or three bears with hoodies, a boy and girl rabbit, and a turtle but she was very disappointed when she opened the package to find out she had gotten none of them! They were all the rest EXCEPT what she wanted it was almost like a joke that they took out all the ones she wanted. She got: a green dolphin, blue dolphin, pink dog, panda, horse, pig cow, orange kangaroo, green frog, giraffe, girl rabbit (which looked nothing like the picture), bear with blue shirt with a K on it ( which she loved because it was the first letter of her name), bear with ribbon, white polar bear, brownish tiger,elephant, red monkey, green hamster, blue duck, lion, and a penguin. She got many unmentioned ones that weren't in the picture: a blue ladybug on a leaf, a pink seal, a pink whale shooting water, blue whale shooting water, green whale shooting water, a pink dinosaur in a brown egg, a blue turtle with a green turtle on top, a pig standing up, a white waving cat, and a white cat holding a heart. She REALLY REALLY wanted the dark blue shark/whale and alligator and she thought she would be getting no duplicates which she didn't but she thought if she was getting 30 that she had a high chance of getting the ones she wanted it but.... NOPE. She still likes them all but is a bit disappointed we are getting some more to put in goody bags we'll see if she gets any she wants then. But still good for erasers.

I normally wouldn't write a review on an eraser animal collection but I couldn't help it since my daughter really enjoys it. Our 9 year old daughter purchased this as she had an Amazon gift card from her grandmother. I was skeptical and thought it was just going to be more cheap junk that I'd just end up stepping on and cursing at around the house. The pieces come apart for each of the animals and it looks like you can interchange the pieces. There's a wide assortment of animals too and they appear to be of high quality. This eraser set kept our daughter and her younger brother occupied during a 3 day family vacation.

No duplicates and are the real deal! Not even same animals of different colors. Every one that I received was a different animal in it's own Iwako wrapper. I purchased from Cool Japan Market. I got these for my son to pass out to his 3rd grade class for his birthday since his school does not allow any food items to be passed out. My son loves these but won't use them as an eraser. He uses it as a collectable toy as they are neat and so adorable.

These are cute and well made however i was only sent 28 instead of 30. Pretty annoyed since in was meant to be divided between 3 kids.

My kids school doesn't allow treats to be given for kids birthday, so parents have to be adventurous to keep the birthday kids happy. My kids have given these out the last 2 years and I find them in desks throughout the year. I love that they are little puzzles, but it does make it frustrating when a head or a leg goes missing! My son's 1st grade teacher used to give these out as prizes to the kids and my son gave them out to his 5th grade class this year, so the love continues!

Omg this is an amazing set. Party bags sorted & kids are delighted. Nice random mix (no more than 2 of the same type & they were different colours). Great value.
