How little of a kitten can you use this?

I've had my vet give this to kittens I have brought in and many sites, including Pet MD say it if fine for cats. According to the product information Pyrantel pamoate is poorly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract and is a very safe way to treat hookworms and roundworms in dogs and cats. Pyrantel rarely results in side effects but vomiting is possible. Pyrantel is safe for use in pregnant and nursing pets. The dosing information I found was as follows: All kittens should be treated for common parasites such as roundworms and hookworms at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. This can be done at a veterinarian, or at home. To deworm a kitten at home, you'll need a digital scale, a 1cc syringe, and a bottle of oral dewormer which can be purchased online or at a pet supply store. You'll want to purchase Pyrantel pamoate 50mg/ml suspension. Follow the dosing information. Regardless of the age you deworm, always follow up with at least one more dose 2 weeks later.

whats the difference between a wormer and a dewormer? I see Nemex 2 called by both names. does it matter.

The short answer is...there is no difference. Its a wormer when treating a dog/puppy with worms and its a dewormer when giving preventive doses. Hope that helps.
