Situ Lighting: Wireless and Rechargeable LED Art Light - Touch Series USA Made (Brushed Brass, 3000K)

This is a very well thought out light that’s really well built. It paints light really nicely. A snap to install. The switch and controls are discreet and disappear into the light itself. Magnet connection to the arm makes it super easy to recharge. The whole thing is just quality. And… an American company whose owner sent me a personal note. Worth every dime of the premium price.

Our light was well packaged and promptly received just four days after placing the order. Installation instructions were comprehensive and the light fixture was in place within minutes. While not inexpensive, this product is clearly very well made. The light array is ingeniously designed,, and our 40” wide Russian oil painting is now “out of the shadows”, and beautifully illuminated. We find the “medium” light intensity most appropriate, and after 15 hours of use the battery has no indication of fatigue. We are very satisfied customers!

This art light is not the most inexpensive, but you get what you pay for, and this one checks off all the boxes. It's very attractive and understated, super easy to install, has three brightness settings, is rechargeable, and there are no unsightly wires running down the wall, nor the added expense of having an electrician bury wiring in the wall. Best of all, it does not detract from the artwork, which is what we bought it for in the first place. The magnetic system is genius and the rechargeable battery is terrific - just pop it off the magnet, recharge it, and snap it back in place. We bought the antique bronze color, and it is very subtle - even against the black frame of the artwork. Our artwork does not have glass in front of it, but if your artwork does, the LED light might reflect off the glass and diminish the look you want to achieve, so be aware of that. I wish the company made it in a larger size for larger artwork. The light we bought, (their largest one), illuminates our 40" x 30" canvas, (not including the frame). Any larger piece of artwork would definitely need a larger light, which at this point, I don't think they make. Overall, we are very pleased with the purchase.

I purchased this light to brighten fine art hanging in locations where there are no plugs. My key conditions were Wireless, No damaging UV for the artwork, easy to use and install.When opening the box the first thing I noticed is how well constructed the pieces were. Each piece is solid and well manufactured. The charger was quick and lets you know if it is done charging visibly with a light on the charger itself. If the light is green, it is finished charging. Mounting the light was quick and relatively painless, I do recommend planning ahead if your art is acrylic or glass fronted. You will want to have someone sit or stand in the most common viewing locations while you move the light (or vice versa) so you can make sure you don't get the reflection of the lights in the surface of your art. Once you have the location set it's simple to mount the aluminum block to the wall and put in the arm for the light. The light itself attaches with magnets and can be angled based on your needs. There are also three settings so you can set it differently based on the environment.My only criticisms do not impact my rating and are more of a "This would be really nice to have."1) There aren't instructions for mounting the aluminum block and the arm. I recommend including them even though it is self explanatory, including size of the screws and drywall anchors.2) I purchased the black arm and light because the wall I am hanging it on is darkly painted. When you have acrylic or glass fronted art, you need to hang the light a few inches higher than the frame to minimize reflection, Because of this the aluminum block is easy to see and can be distracting. I recommend the option of a black anodized aluminum block or a black cover which can be snapped over the aluminum block to keep it hidden.Great product, thank you! I will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

Simple and understated design

Very fancy art light. But it only lights up half of the three foot length of the painting sufficiently.

This is the perfect solution for a painting that we didn’t have the electrical wiring to light. The 2700K light is a soft and elegant light on the yellow side of the spectrum that makes our painting look fantastic. The fixture itself is high quality and and hangs beautifully. It seems like this light was thoughtfully designed and it is definitely worth the investment to make your painting the star of the room.

Love this light so much, I bought a second one the next week! Quick to install, no electrician needed, and you can take it with you to your next home. You can install the bracket on the wall (prefered) or attach to the back frame of the painting, but then it leans off the wall at the top. (Update- fixed that with Command Velcro strips).The 2700K (K is Kelvin =color temperature) is nice for a room where you want a warmer light and coziness.The 3000K is good for general brighter areas.Beautifully packaged, amazing quality, easy to recharge and love the three light levels.The photos are showing on and off to see how it illuminates artwork.
