Wicklein Meistersinger Lebkuchen - Triple Sort - Cello Bag

These cookies were great - just what you’d expect to purchase in Germany or Austria (I lived there for over ten years). The cookies were not broken or crumbled. They are savory and sweet, not just sweet, and in that sense a delightful change of pace to a lot of dessert cookies.

Was going to give these to my Oma as a gift, but they arrived crushed from Amazon throwing them into an envelope instead of a box. My sons & I enjoyed them anyway & they were absolutely delicious. But one must anticipate them being crushed from poor shipping.

Though still a bit tasty the product was dry and crumbly. It seemed even from the color to have been older and not fresh. I was about to gift it but did not feel able to due to the appearance which later was verified when tasted by me. Disappointing.

I love these Lebkuchen, the flavors that take me back to my childhood. The spices and citron sing of Christmas time. They are a bit spendy for my budget but for a yearly treat it is worth it.

Package clearly stated to ship in a box. Cookies are soft and tasted just like the ones I ate In Germany last month. It’s just a shame they were smashed.

These cookies came almost the next day. Packing was excellent and they were FRESH! The only down side is these cookies are made at Christmas. I could use a supply all year! I will definitely buy from this merchant again.

Nice big package, but unfortunately they were stale. 😒 Also think they should use a bigger envelope when shipping bc part of the plastic food wrapper was caught up in the shipping envelope seal. So, it ripped open when I open the shipping envelope. 😫
