Our Daily Bread Devotional Collection

This rich little book is always on my desk next to my phone. As the day wears on I will stop what I am doing and pick up "Our Daily Bread" to reconnect with God. Before I get into the "meat" of the book I have to say it has one of the most attractive covers I have recently seen on a book. "Our Daily Bread" has gems of wisdom for each day of the year. Each day's reading can be done in about a minute. One of my best friends keeps "Our Daily Bread" in his bathroom. Each page starts out with a short piece of scripture, then has a very short story supporting the quoted scripture. The last thing on the page is a short one line saying that summarizes the daily writing. I am buying this as a "just because" gift for everyone in the office. I would be in my office late in the evening writing my most current book, "Creative Thinking for Christians"  Creative Thinking for Christians (Business With A Purpose) . I would break up the long hours by going back to reread select prior days that I had dog eared. I recommend this book to everyone.

Highly recommended devotional from "Our Daily Bread" Publishing. Day specific but not year specific. Each devotion is linked to a specific Bible passage. Flexible imitation leather cover makes it comfortable to hold and read. Attached ribbon place marker with gold edging.

These books are very nice. This is my second daily bread. Nice stories and Christion message for each day. my Aunt would give me one of these books or one like it when I was 10. That was over 50 years ago and it was one of my times reading religion. Each stories have a wonderful message. I pass them on to my grandchildren. You can not go wrong with one of these books

This is my second "Our Daily Bread". Loved going through the devotional last year. In fact, I went through it with my boyfriend whom I had just started dating. It is a year later, and not only did we both get a copy, but we got one for his best friend and his wife, and I also got a copy for each of my brothers. Now we can all "be on the same page". The book is very attractive with gold leaf pages. Beautiful in every sense of the word.

I gave this as a Christmas gift and my friend loves it!

This is a lovely devotional book. The soft leather-like binding is inviting to hold and the pages lay flat for easy reading. A ribbon marker is very nice to have included. The pages are labeled by month/day and can be read for any year. The writers are familiar Our Daily Bread staff, always an inspiration. I purchased a book for myself and two others to give as gifts. I am already reading it daily, I could not wait until 2013. I will probably purchase more to give away for this is a lovely book at a reasonable price.

I bought two of these, one for me and one for my best friend that lives 10 hours away from me. We are going to start them together on 1/1/18 and discuss how they apply to us each day. It's a great way for her and I to reconnect on something because we have lived away from each other for a long time now and find that we are talking less and less each day. Now we will have something to discuss every day. We are very excited!

This book gets me through my day daily. You can follow through with the scriptures in the bible. Easy to understand.

I have appreciated using this annual collection on a regular basis through the years for my morning devotions. Well written by a selection of reviewers with a different focus each day from both the Old Testament and the New Testament. Great for travel with a sturdy binding.

Bought this as a gift for my sister, she loves the look and feel of the book.

Read it everyday.It was so good,I bought a second one for my wife.
