Dixie Carb CountersCorn Muffin Mix

These are more like eggy bread than corn bread, in both taste and texture. There is none of the gritty texture of cornbread, and not really any of the taste either. The product was edible but not worth the price paid, in my opinion. I am curious about the other posters use as breading, but not willing to shell out the cash to try it.

This product was ok. I wish it had a more corny flavor and taste. If I use this product again I will add a bit of sweetner and some type of corn flavor. All in all it did bake up well but looked nothing like the picture on the package.

They were very good. I've always loved corn muffins but because of my diet I havn't been able to eat them in years. Thank you Dixie Carb

I've been low carb for 10 years and have tried everything out there. I'm also southern and know corn bread, these are super tasty. The carb count is low enough I can eat 2/day! Trust Dixie Diner products. Happy that even my friends like them.

My daughter is on the Atkins plan and she liked these potatoes. She said they weren't great but better than none.

I think this might be able to be doctored up. But it's so dry and had no flavor, I couldn't eat it. Try adding some sweetner and maybe some green chilis or something.
