Q: Is this offered in lightweight straps?

These were actually slightly heavier than advertised. Each was 6-8" longer than advertised as well. Exact with of 1.5" I would have preferred slightly less thick myself as I want to bond two together with a steel core. As they are, they are a bit bulky. Good quality, and you get more than you pay for.

Hello, It is about 1/8 - 3/16. Another comparison is the thickness of a good belt.

I think you need to go your orders find this order and you should see contact the seller...if not click on the return an item and it may be in there somewhere...I had to do it once and it was in that section somewhere...good luck.

Yes, this leather will darken if any mink oil or perseverative is applied. At first, it will be very dark. But no worries, when dried it will lighten up but still be darker than natural. Mink oil is my favorite finisher. It will keep the leather from drying out.
