Dance With Me (1998) UK Region 2 compatible ALL REGION DVD

Great feel good movie

I loved this film. With both Chayanne and Vanessa L. Williams both being singers and dancers, the performances from them were superb, with excellent performances from Kris Kristofferson and Dame Joan Plowright (Bea). Bearing in mind that the film was released in 1998, the screen quality was not as good on a large screen as newer DVD's, however, it was still 'watchable'. Although the DVD is 'all-region', the 'extras' on the disk are in Korean only.When I reported this to the dealer, I was rapidly offered either a refund or a rebate, without any hesitation - top marks to the seller for being on the ball.

love the film, but its a shame that for the price of the renting, you do not get good resolution in some scene.

Was unable to use DVD due to an error on my end. Seller was perfectly understanding and accepted the return of the DVD and gave me a full refund.

I bought this film on DVD many years ago - and the soundtrack - but lost both in a house move! Thought about it one evening and found it on Amazon. No Oscars for sure but Vanessa Williams dancing and indeed the main character Chayanne fantastic. Worth a £3.45 punt lol.

This film is one of those feel-good films that are perfect for a lazy day. You won't need your brain, just sit back and enjoy. You'll have a smile all the way through! The best part of the film for me is the music. I love the latin flavour, the dancing, Chayanne, the male lead. He's just dreamy...Where was I? Oh, yes, Vanessa Williams is good too.I was a bit worried that it would be in Italian as it's imported but it's suitable for use in the UK and you just have to change the language options. You may also want to turn off the Italian subtitles for the bit at the start but it does't spoil anything. If you don't know your Italian, to change the language it's the second option on the main menu.Enjoy!

I just love this film and do have a dvd but it will only play on a multi region player and mine has packed up. Great to discover it on prime so bought it. Then it appeared on Netflix a few days later! 🙄

Even after all this time this movie is well acted, lit and directed. One of my favourite dance movies. It is mostly Cuban music and gives an insight into the Miami Cuban community at a low level in it's time which I like.
