e-Pill 5 Times a Day x 7 Day Small Weekly Pill Organizer, Vitamin and Medicine Pill Box - with Discreet Case and Pill Reminder

The problem with this pill organizer is that the alarm is separate from the pill box itself. One of the reviews said it could fit in the case, but I wasn't able to fit it in. A perfect device would be one where each day's box of pills could somehow be neatly attached to the alarm, so that you could have one item to take with you when you leave the house.Otherwise, the alarm is easy to set up, the pillboxes are compact but have enough room for lots of pills, the alarm is good and loud but not so obnoxious as to drive one to drink.

Super pleased with this organizer. Very well made daily boxes, perfectly sized grids and the flip lid is snug. The alarm is awesome, fast and easy to use, can be heard from my end of the house. My dad has Parkinson's so I really needed the 5 compartments daily. Worth every dollar !!!

I have been looking for a reliable system to remind a family member to take his medicine three times a day. He has Parkinson's Disease & taking the medicine at the same time everyday is important. He gets busy around the house & was constantly taking his meds late.I researched several medicine alarm systems & decided that this system was the easiest to use & the most dependable. It also comes with a week's worth of pill boxes and a travel case which holds the pillboxes & the alarm.Description for 7 Pill Boxes with 5 daily doses each--Each daily pill box is labeled with the day of week, has enough containers for 5 doses a day, and each dose is labeled 1 through 5. The numbers 1 through 5 are printed on each lid and also embossed on the side. If the printed number wears off, the large embossed number on the side stands out, can be felt and are the same color as the pill box.--The pill boxes are easy to open and snap closed securely.--Each daily pill box holds 5 doses & measures approx 3 7/8" long x 1 1/4" x 7/8" .--Each individual pill box dosage compartment is almost 1" deep (this measurement includes the depth of the lid which is slightly raised) x approx 3/4" wide. To give an idea of how much each dosage compartment holds - I'm able to put 3 large, fish oil gel tablets (approx 1 1/8" x 3/8") in one with space left for a few smaller tablets. The product description states each dosage compartment will hold about 14 aspirin sized tablets. The large gel fish oil tabs fit so snugly that they might get stuck and can be a bit difficult to remove.Description for Black Canvas Case - case has back pocket which holds the alarm--The canvas case holds a week's worth of pillboxes (5 doses each day)--The canvas case also has a back pocket which holds the alarm--The canvas case has a Velcro closure--The pillboxes can be arranged to see the day of the week at first glance.--The canvas case measures approx. 7" x 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 1 1/4"The AlarmThe alarms are incredibly easy to set and can be set for every hour and/or half hour between 6 am & midnight.Be aware that there is no option to set an alarm from 12:30 am to 5:30 am. I guess you can use an alarm clock or maybe your watch if you need an alarm set during these times.The alarm beeps when it's time to take your meds.We usually don't have any problem hearing the beeps. If we're concentrating on something we might not notice them right away.The alarm beeps until it's turned off or for 3 to 4 minutes.After 3 or 4 minutes the alarm turns off & displays a 'Missed Dose' message.You are instructed to take your meds then turn off the alarm.Problems we have & changes to make the unit more user friendly:The time display does not have a cover & is constantly changing to military time. I think the buttons somehow get accidentally pushed.It would be nice if there was some sort of see-thru sliding cover that fits over the time display and 'Stop', 'Set', and 'Adj' buttons.Also, all three buttons are the same color. Some users might get confused or not be able to determine which button is the 'Stop' button. It would be nice if the 'Stop' button was red to set it apart from the other two buttons.I would like to see belt loops added to the Canvas Case so the alarm & pillboxes could be worn around the waist.All in all, we really like this system & love the pill alarm.My hubby uses a belt waist pack to hold the alarm, daily meds, cell phone & a small water bottle. Now when he's out and about, he doesn't miss a dose.

Easy to operate but the alarm is not loud enough.

This is the most awesome little timer I've ever seen. Setting the alarms is easy and it has more than 3 so I was able to set mom's 5 alarms very easily. Reviews said it was not loud but I was able to hear it from her room out into the living room if my TV was not on. I highly recommend this.

Finding a 7 day pill minder for medicine five times a day was difficult. This one meets my needs. In fact, I rather like it. The fabric of the case is sturdy. The individual compartments for the pills are large enough for my pills, but if I needed each compartment to hold six horse pills, I doubt there would be enough room. One end of each container is labeled with the day, The compartments are labeled one through five. Very professional looking. Very convenient.The alarm timer makes a ticking sound. Every second. It was like the sound of the clock in the alligator's belly. Very annoying. The pill organizer is available without the timer. If I buy another one, I will buy it without the timer. It is also $10 cheaper.

My mother in law loves it. The alarm goes off 5x/day and it's loud enough for her to hear. We set it up for her which was very easy to do.

This product has been very helpful for my husband who needs to take medications 5 times a day. He has not been missing medications since we purchased the e-pill. The reminder works very well along with the organizer.
