I have had one for years and have purchased them as gifts for different people who all said perfect rice every time. Most recently bought for a friend’s son for his birthday - he is at uni and mentioned he could never get rice right. Top tip - always soak immediately after use or the last few bits of rice stick to it and dry on like cement. If you soak it straight away it’s easy to wash / clean in the dishwasher.

Very cheaply made don’t expect it to last very long, especially the hinge and the catch.

Based on positive review below, purchased this model - yes there are cheaper models but I went for one with 3 year warranty - it's the hinges you need to be mindful of - weak or poorly made will render a product like this useless.The chain has a useful hook to keep it in place on saucepan.It makes an easy and tidy job of cooking rice, cook for exactly 10mins, pull out, drain, set aside with lid shut to rest and within a few minutes you have perfectly cooked rice.

I cook for one and only have a little rice with meals. I don't think I even own a pan big enough to put this in. I'm sure it's excellent, just no good for me.

Great item. bought for my mum who can only do perfect rice using this. She is really pleased with it.

We didn’t think that the hinge was as strong as the one we were replacing.

Absolutely brilliant does the rice beautiful. Boil water but ball in to pot let it boil 12min then empty pot leave ball back in pot with lid for 12 min perfect. No rinsing. I use Jasmon rice.

Koche gerne damit weil leicht zu reinigen und der Reis verklebt nicht so stark an der KugelPunktabzug weil es meine 2. Kugel ist bei der 1. löste sich nach einem Jahr die Scharnier Befestigung

Spedizione nei tempi stabiliti imballaggio perfetto! Peccato che appena arrivata la cerniera che unisce le due semisfera e appariva poco solida e troppo sottile! Già mi ponevo il problema che si sarebbe rotta dopo pochi utilizzi ... La sorpresa più grande l'ho avuta però già dal primo utilizzo, quando inserendo il riso nella sfera questo è subito uscito fuori dai fori di scolo per l'acqua ... Di fatto inutilizzabile!!

Llegó en plazo y el artículo tiene un precio y valor razonables. El uso que le doy, aunque tiene otros, es el de cocer el arroz y estoy contento porque con las cazuelas normales siempre se pega algo, aquí siempre está suelto.Saludos.
