THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!! Read on!
THIS STUFF IS AMAZING!! Read on! Ok, so I’ve seen people mention the scent and some sticky feeling on your skin. Both are related to the ingredients. Both also go away within minutes. The sticky is the aloe but sinks in shortly after application. The smell is tea tree oil and from someone disabled from horrible headaches the smell is not awful but if you don’t like that it also goes away quickly. This is an extremely great purchase! The aloe moisturizes and is great as a lotion, sun burn, sores (no broken skin), bug bites, for the overweight peeps it works really well on heat rashes where there is skin against skin (chaffing) I guess it may be a good thing for large chested women as well, and I could go on (one more thing, if you add a bit more alcohol it’s a great hand sanitizer!). The tea tree is antibacterial and great for so many things especially especially when it’s cheaper per ounce and way more helpful than some after sun product that I ran out of and you look at it compared to other aloe products. I never write reviews but this product is so great and it can be used for so much that I sent a bottle to three family members to keep handy and just replaced mine again as I use it daily!! If you are not sure hopefully this will give you the information you need to decide!

Good for a sunburn!
I normally use aloe vera green gel after a sunburn. It’s hard to find anymore. I ordered this one in hopes that it would do the same job as the green gel. It’s actually better! It soothes the skin and so far I have never peeled after using it. It feels very good going on. It’s much better than any after lotion..

good and affordable
I prefer this product over the gel as it is simple with few ingredients, and less likely to contain something that ultimately is harmful to my body. This is an extremely great purchase! The aloe moisturizes and is great as a lotion, sun burn, and i recommend it.

A Remarkably Useful Product
This Aloe formulation is thin and water-like. Apparently this quality has prompted some negative reactions. But I have used aloe products for a long time and the RESULTS with this one have ranked it number one in my book. My dry, balding scalp appreciates its moisturizing effect and its lack of stickiness and odor. I can put two pumps into one hand then smooth together on both hands and massage into my scalp AND MY REMAINING HAIR! Yes it is recommended for hair too. Allow to dry, comb and I'm done. After only a few days of using it my skin is smoother and devoid of any redness. I am hoping this product remains available forever, but just in case I will be ordering a lot and stashing it away.

Glides on, leaves skin fresh and springy
I used the product on my face after I shave. The product glides on easily, although it is thin, it sticks to the surface of the skin. It creates a bit of a mask feeling for a few minutes like it is on top of the skin, but then absorbs. I have sensitive skin, but It felt soothing on application, and quickly left my skin feeling fresh and springy. The application requires some care. The product is very thin, so be careful when you get it out of the pack, you can easily pour too much and it ends up running through your hands/ fingers and into the wash basin or on the floor below. Fortunately, there was good consumer feedback which I read prior to buying the product so I was fully prepared and squeezed the bottle gently to release a small amount.

Much too liquid-y
I was looking for a good vegan/cruelty-free aloe-vera gel to use as a good post-sun cooling moisturizer for the hot summer weather (or really, ANY season in L.A. is hot and therefore a good time to use aloe vera gel), but this stuff comes in a pump bottle, which would be fine if it were thicker and more gel-like, but this stuff is SO thin and liquid-y that it squirts all over the place when you try to pump some out in your hand! I have to make sure when I use it that my hand entirely wraps around the pump so that it doesn't get all over the counter (and yet because it is so liquid-y, some of it still manages to get through my fingers and drips everywhere). I'm still going to finish up this bottle so as not to waste it-- I think that is actually has SOME moisturizing/cooling qualities about it, but once I finish this bottle, I definitely will NOT be being it again! I only got it in the first place because it was on sale and wanted to check it out, but now I will be going back to using Lily of the Desert brand aloe vera gel, which is of a much thicker consistency and (as well as it actually feels more cooling on the skin) therefore easier to use.

THIS IS WATERY
Read a lot of reviews noting that this is not a gel-consistency: CORRECT.Natural, pressed aloe is not gelatin. With all of the additives that the commercialized concept of "aloe" has become expected that aloe is "gel". The commercial aloe gel is a gel to make distill it from it's original natural properties, add "fillers" to stretch the product from a manufacturing stand-point, and also TO MAKE IT EASIER TO HANDLE/ APPLY.Personally, I prefer this product over the gel as it is simple with few ingredients, and less likely to contain something that ultimately is harmful to my body (why apply a myriad of chemicals to an open wound on your body... like a burn?)TIP- I use a gentle, continuous mist spray bottle (usually for succulents or hair-styling), and fill it with this aloe fluid instead. I spray it on my face daily, and anytime I shave any part of my body I spray it afterwards as well. This spray bottle makes application FAR MORE EASIER than attempting to rub on some watery-fluid.

Hate the consistency but seems to work
LIQUID. This product it NOT a gel, not even close. Was very disappointed in that but didn't read the reviews carefully enough and thought it was merely a liquid-y gel. Nothing gel about it. That being said, used it on my sunburn and seems to work just like aloe gel. After going back and reading some reviews, some mention it being sticky. That was not my experience. It is not as sticky as aloe gels I have used (it is the aloe itself that is sticky mostly and i think the gel adds to that). So it will prob work well as a scalp conditioner and be more multi purpose than gel, but I prefer gel for sun burns so won't be getting again.
