Perfect for superball friction mallets for percussion
It was hard to find the right size blade at a local store, so I ordered these. I was making friction mallets for drums by putting a frosted superball on the end. I had been using very thin wooden dowels but they kept splitting the ball, and eventually snapping. These blades offer the perfect amount of flexion to get much more range of dynamics and pitch. Just put some epoxy to hold them in the ball. Sorry, I cannot speak to how good they are at cutting wood!
