You can't beat this quality at this price.
Feels just like the $5,200 Korg I had in 1994, but this one has speakers! The speakers are amazingly powerful. @ headphone outputs is very nice, even though they're both 1/8" (3.5mm) instead of 1/4" jacks. This is a home practice unit and, although you could use it for performing, it's not geared for it. In particular, this unit lacks:1/4" outputMore than 1 pedal inputMIDI In or ThruYou can send your MIDI data out, but it's not going to playback through the unit, which is the most important feature this unit lacks. I'm sure the standard pedal that ships with the unit would last a long time, but it's like stepping on a toggle switch. For about $15 I picked up a M-Audio pedal which feels much better, but still slides around on carpet. I would recommend finding a pedal with a cord on the side instead of the back so you could push it against a book or brick or something that sits against the wall so the pedal isn't too far back, but isn't killing the cord while it's pressed up against it.The unbeatable sound of a Korg worth thousands of dollars more, along with the weighted feel to match, makes this cheap beginner piano sound and feel like one that belongs on stage. You simply cannot find anything better.**NOTE: The weighted keys feel more like a grand than an upright. If your looking for a weighted board that's lighter like an upright, this may not be the weight you're looking for. I play hard and love the feel, but if you play on the quieter side, you may want to look at a Yamaha. If that doesn't make sense to you, go play any weighted Korg for 5 minutes - it's the same feel on all full size boards and has been for years. If you're struggling or your hands ache a bit after 5 minutes, you may want to consider a lighter weight. If you a beginning child, in my opinion, this weight is perfect. If they learn to play a board with this heavier feel, they'll be able to play on anything. Good luck!

It's a good piano, but sometimes random notes don't sustain with pedal depressed
It is a very affordable piano. The keys are perfectly weighted the in-built speakers are quite good. Compared to the Casio CDP 200R I owned earlier, this one feels much more like a real piano! However...When I play the piano with the sustain pedal depressed, individual notes will randomly not sustain! This happens about once every 30 seconds when playing at a reasonably high tempo (~100 bpm). It may not seem like a huge deal to some, but to the player, it feels like missing a step while running down a flight of stairs. In other words, not very pleasant. To confirm that it is not a problem with the sustain pedal, I also tried playing with the M-Audio SP2 and had the same issue. Moreover, it only happens with the default piano setting and only with the sustain pedal depressed. All other tones work perfectly to my knowledge. It happens both with the built-in speakers and my headphones, which tells me that it is a problem with the piano's internal circuitry. Additionally, I have noticed that turning on the chorus feature or changing the key touch to "lightest" seems to make it go away. Unfortunately, while I can get used to the lightest key touch (with some unwelcome effort), it is not ideal for me to play with the chorus on since I primarily play classical music.I am quite convinced that this is a problem with the piano and not with any settings that I have in place. However, I will confirm with Korg and with the seller before I consider returning it since otherwise I quite like the piano!UPDATE: I spoke with Korg and they agree that this is a problem with the piano! I am very sad because I have to send it back, and I can see that there are the piano is no longer available on Amazon :(

Rough shipping may result in damage?
I like this piano a lot, but the B natural key at the lowest octave does not function at all. I'm not sure if this was damaged in shipping or if it came faulty... Fortunately not too many songs require the entire keyboard especially the 3rd to lowest note. This means that I didn't even notice the issue until owning the keyboard for a month, but now that I know it doesn't work I'm a bit bothered..

It's a very good beginner piano.
As you can tell by the description there are some but not a lot of bells and whistles, but it is a very good quality beginner digital piano. The sound is surprisingly good considering the size of the speakers in it. The reason behind the 4 stars and not 5 is purely Amazons fault. This piano is sold and shipped by Amazon so it was suppose to come with a free 3 month trial membership to Skoove.com, Amazon failed to send the E-mail with the promotional code needed to sign up for that. I don't know how much I would have used it but at the very least I was hoping to grab a couple of free sheets of music.

We love this keyboard
I bought this keyboard for my 5 year old son. He started lessons when he was 4 and I decided to invest after seeing that he liked piano. His piano teacher named a few brands that she considered good quality, and Korg was one of them. It was easy to put together and I don't know a whole lot about pianos and such, but it sounds great to me!

Great way to spend lockdown time
During the lockdown decided to use after work time at home studying music. I had a small Korg nanoKey wireless keyboard already and was pleased with that. I wanted a full 88 keys to have a more piano experience. It feels just like a rwmeal piano and I can use headphones to not annoy my housemate.

Weighted keys and sensitivity are the very best!
The weighted keys are excellent; as good as you will find at any price. The sensitivity along with the weighted keys make this a great practice keyboard that will help you keep your touch for a real piano. The built-in speakers are adequate; very good for the price. The sounds are not the highest quality, but are good for the price. I am extremely happy with this keyboard. I highly recommend it.

really fun, great product
I've been playing drums for 35 years and I've wanted a piano without the size or expense. My 7 yo daughter also has been wanting to learn. And I wanted one with great depth and richness of sound with the real feel of a full piano. This Korg is all of it. I'm really pleased with this purchase and the product.

It's a brand new KORG for under £300 !!! The End.
I spent ages and ages deliberating over, new vs used, Yamaha vs KORG, an old upright vs electronic, etc., etc.The only way this could be better is not realistic. I cannot afford what I want (like so much in life), and this is fantastic at this price point. Anyone highlighting negatives is probably being unfair... So, what are they?It can't go quite as loud as you may like (but, manage your expectations, for 2 x 9W speakers, it's great)It doesn't have the split/partner mode of the B1 (again, if you need that, buy the B1)The sustain pedal is neither robust, nor does it have adequate travel/feel (but, that you get one at all is a bonus)The music rest is barely adequate (the lower corner-hold offered by the B1 is a small but significant upgrade.)The voices, other than the default Grand Piano (which is excellent) are okay for the least popular instruments and not great for the more desirable brass & strings. The power cable meets the device very poorly; feels 10 years old and on the verge of breaking free at any moment despite being fresh out-of-the-box.A metronome would be nice. The Great points; and they are Great with a captital "G":The Grand Piano voice is exceptional. The low-end sound is exceptional. The 88 weighted keys are excellentIt has 2 headphone ports (on a KORG... at this price!)It has a MIDI out (on a KORG... at this price!)In summary: if you are a rational human being, and can manage your expectations; this is the portable, electronic, weighted-key, great-sounding piano for you.

Punkt.

Great sound, value for money, pedal included
Feels like a classic piano, the keys are weighted and sounds great. Another plus point is that it takes very little space depth wise. I bought the recommended stand separately on eBay (new but cheaper), and it looks good. Pedal included, although a plastic one (you can buy the chrome pedal separately). It doesn't have many instruments sound options, but I wanted a piano, and if that's the trade off for is great price, I'm good with that. Great product, great price.
