I have recently developed an interest in various kinds of percussion instruments such as the drums (various size and types) and clave. I have purchased a couple of small drums and different size claves. I just received these fantastic (Basic Beat 12” combination rhythm sticks) and purchased them on Amazon for a bargain price. The interesting thing about these clave (rhythm sticks) is that they all make a little different sound. I found them to be fun to play with Latin and African beat songs. This set has a grooved stick and a shorter smooth stick.If you are into percussion musical instruments you may want to check out these clave. Used these back in the 80's in music class. Had to buy them when I thought about them.

Perfect size for 4 and 5 year olds. Not too long - so they can't whack each other accidentally. The quality is very good and sounds great!

Solid quality. My kids love them!

Solid wood, so what can go wrong? I am not sure but one side is coming off. Mostly good.

I love these for tapping on things myself, but they are also great when a group of kids are over. We have enough so everyone gets their own set and no one fights over the "better instruments." So cheap and a great toy for creative music making.

My class will enjoy using these.

If your child loves music, then encourage the passion with these. It's the perfect play and reasonably priced.
