I was happily surprised to see the coconut is chopped finely and not the typical skinny shreds. I used it in a granola recipe and it's great!

We have been purchasing these coconut flakes for years. After seeing the ingredients on some of the other name-brand coconut flakes, I have moved exclusively to buying organic, limited-ingredient coconut flakes. I love that the flakes are very tiny, making them great for icings and dessert recipes that use coconut more as a filler for thickening. The texture is also great, not overpowering for recipes that aren't mostly coconut. While I love that it is organic and has limited ingredients, my complaint with it is that it isn't great for all recipes. It isn't always the freshest, with how long it sits on shelves, and it has very little moisture, which is something that is important for cookies. It still works for most recipes, making it my go-to for recipes with coconut as one of their ingredients but not the main ingredient. Don't expect it to be great for macaroons or other coconut-based cookies unless you are willing to add some extra moisture.

I used these for my granola it enhances the flavor to it.

I bought this to make homemade coconut milk. I use my vitamix blender and the only other ingredient is water and mix mix mix. Makes very delicious milk and cream too! All the cream comes to the top as it cools and I can use that in my keto coffee. Added bonus :) Very happy with the quality and taste.

I bought this in order to make weaning food for my little one. Just received it two days ago and found out the expiry date is too short. I think we cannot consume it in such a short time like that. A little bit disappointed this time though I like Bob’s Red Mill products a lot.
