This doll is great! I purchased it as a Christmas present for my mom, she had one as a kid. We still own the old one and it’s a perfect reproduction. It arrived new in box, but the plastic holding the sunglasses had rotted and released them, so they were loose in the box, and that’s the only reason I give four instead of 5 stars. Other than that, everything was in great condition! I can’t wait till Christmas to see what my mom thinks!

This is a beautiful Francie doll! It arrived very quickly. Some things for serious collectors to note:- her hair isn't flipped up at the ends, something that I may be able to fix with hot water- her legs are soft rubber but don't seem to bend and "click" like the original- if you keep her NRFB, be advised that the plastic elastic holding her sunglasses in place has rotted and may leave a residue (I always take my dolls out of their boxes)The accoutrements encluded with her ensemble are 2 pairs of shoes (white low heels and green ankle boots), a green hanger (I haven't seen one of these in a long time!), and a small eyelash brush (what a blast from the past!) I rate this doll high on the educational scale because I think the retro style of doll and outfit are very interesting; Barbie didn't always have purple hair or come sheathed in blinding hot pink lame ;-)

She looks so gorgeous and her hair is so soft. I don't know how many times I touch her hair. Thanks for a quality barbie. I really love this doll

I love the doll and the outfit. The complaint I have is that the tights are so thick that the shoes have split on the top of both. This did not happen when I put them on, but I noticed the split about two weeks later. I guess my complaint is with the manufacturer, but be extra careful when the shoes are put on. I did contact Mattel, but since the doll is a 1996 issue, they are sorry that they no longer have replacement shoes.
