It works. Good for systems that don't have availible LAN connections or POE switch ports are full
My POE switch has only one port available and total power wise its running 50% below max. Tested it with two Hikvision fixed lens cameras that pulled about 5 watts each. Power cycled, about six separate times, the POE LAN port that is connected to the IN on this unit (PoE Extender02), every time the NVR system reconnected both cameras without a problem. Didn't try to replicate rookie mistakes of running at max spec for this unit as it always is safe and saves time to run under specs, why? cause functionality is always the premium.

It Works!
I needed to add a second POE camera in a location where I already had one. I really didn't want to run another Ethernet cable, so I purchased this to run both POE cameras off the one cable and it works! I was so happy that the POE could power this switch along with both cameras. Not only that, but there is about 150-200' of CAT5e cable between the primary POE switch and this switch - and it still works! Couldn't be happier.

Complete garbage
I bought 4 of these to use on POE camera jobs where we’d need an extra camera. I’ve used other POE splitters with no issues. These things are complete garbage. Every single one I’ve installed has failed within 6 months. I’m using these with Hik Vision turrets. According to my POE switch, they draw under 7 watts per camera so I’m within their working range. I have one that is still kinda working… If the power goes out long enough to where the system loses power, the 2 cameras connected to the splitter won’t work unless I unplug everything and plug in 1 camera at a time. I’d have given zero stars if that was an option. These have cost me way more money in service calls than the price of the parts. Save you money. Buy something else. These are absolute crap.

Cheap quality but usually work
Ordered two units, one was DOA. Other one works to power two ip cameras, but after a day both went offline. Had to reset Poe switch. Went offline again a day later. They offered replacement or refund with no hassle so I gave 4 stars for that.

Works well
Been running two Dahua 4PM PoE cameras of single CAT5 run for two weeks with no problems. Total power through the device is high relative to the max rating (~7w), but the device itself produces little heat. Booted both cameras simultaneously multiple times and experienced no brownouts or other issues. Total bandwidth to both cameras is ~1Mb with no signs of appreciable packet loss. Seems to be doing the trick.

Hit or miss
I've bought 3 of these for my home camera network, and today only 1 of them is still working reliably. The units seem to overheat extremely easily and over time, this causes power and connection issues. For the two that no longer work, for a while I would be able to get them functional by unplugging them from the POE switch and reconnecting them, but eventually that no longer worked. Power and tx rates became spotty and the cameras would not power up or connect properly. When the first one went out, I bought the 3rd one thinking that I simply got a bad one. But turns out they all have this issue, as the 2nd one went out and the 3rd one started showing signs of the issues as well. I have since upgraded the critical ones to a more reputable brand and can only use the 3rd one in a diminished, non-data capacity. I would recommend saving the headache and spending the extra $5 or $10 for a better constructed unit.

Mount it where you can get to it easily!
This device works as advertised, it will take a single PoE line in and provide two PoE lines out. HOWEVER: make sure you mount this device where you can easily get to it. I have installed two of these units on separate projects, and in the event of power loss, they will not reset properly. Both ports turn on at the same time and neither one will grab an IP address. The only remedy I have found is to unplug one of the cameras, wait about five seconds, then plug it back in. At that point, both cameras will obtain IP addresses again.
