Barbie Collector Gold Label - Fashion Model Collection - Suite Retreat Barbie Doll

I normally like the blonde and redhead dolls but this doll is exceptional. The hair is beautiful, truly auburn. I wish the clothing was a bit more elegant. Normally don’t write reviews. I emailed the store/company to ask a few questions and they promptly responded. I received the doll perfectly packaged in bubble wrap—no dents, excellent condition. The doll itself, including the tissue paperwork still intact with the ribbon holding it in place.

This is my first purchase off of Amazon for Barbie Silkstone and this vendor did not disappoint. The packaging was bubble wrapped and the box and doll look brand new.

This is a Silkstone doll from Mattel. The material was chosen for its strength and beauty. Silkstone is 8 on the Mohn Scale of Hardness, and can be formed to emulate the beauty of porcelain, without the fragility.The Silkstone dolls (aka silkies) have delicate features and an aura of grace about them. Silkies are high on the scale of collectibles. The older Barbie clothing will go on them, but probably won't fit because these dolls are slimmer. They are not fully articulated, because developing a method to articulate stone that hard is next to impossible -- I think.Suite Retreat is dressed in a silk suit, her red-auburn hair is thick and curly, her eyes are sultry. She is a pleasant addition to any collection.

It's been years since I bought this beautiful silkstone doll - in my collecting days, which have had to stop before I need a seperate house for all my doll collections. The silkstones are one of my two fav dolls to collect, and this one is very well done - from the hair loose to the wonderfully made outfit. Excellent as always!

Absolutely stunning Silkstone doll. Beautiful. This one in particular I got to unbox and change her outfit to display. Worth every penny. She looks even better in person. The Silkstone line of dolls are exquisite.

Pampered by her silky white satin evening wear she is ready to entertain. The smooth silkstone skin feels like no other doll on the market. She is an excelent and reasonably affordable choice for the new or vetren silkstone collector. Now, lets light the fireplace!

Aufgrund einer schlechten Rezension hatte ich diese Barbie immer ausgeklammert. Wirklich ein Fehler! Diese Puppe ist wirklich sehr hübsch, außerdem trägt sie einen Pyjama, der sehr fein gearbeitet ist, die Details kann man auf dem Foto nicht sehen. Auch der Preis ist verhältnismäßig günstig. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
