Stainless Steel Operating Scissors, Floor Grade, Straight, 5.5" Length

when I bought these I thought they were the operating scissors that were pointed on one side, but a little rounded on the other, but they are pointy on both blades. They keep on poking holes in my scrubs. I am hesitant to use them on patients, though because of both of the blades being so sharp. Not quite fine enough to use for sutures, though it can be done. Good quality.

Functioned as required

I got these to be a part of my whelping kit for when my dachshund went into labor. She didnt want to chew the cords so i had to cut them. These scissors basically shredded the cords instead of a clean cut. I would have faired just as well by just using my finger nails. I just wanted everything to be sterile so opted for these instead. I threw them away and will be buying from somewhere else when shes bred again next year.

These are a good pair of sharp, well made, surgical scissors. We used them to cut umbilical cords while delivering a litter of puppies and have been using them for a variety of medical tasks with no complaints. There's an almost imperceptible curve at the tip of the scissors. The tips are pointed, providing the ability to accomplish small detail oriented tasks.

They do not cut at great. It would not cut the plastic at work. I use it on my dog but some times it does not cut well.

These are nice and heavy. They cut nicely as well.

The product looks like locally made but sold as American diagnostic corporation. It has no brand name carved or does not have packaging mentioning the brand name. Would advise to avoid this product.
