Model CS-3AB Component Video/Analog Stereo Audio Balun / Extender system allows one HDTV complete component video (YPbPr or RGB) signal (as well as SDTV) and Stereo RCA audio signal to be transmitted via a single cost-effective unshielded twisted pair (UTP) Category 5e/6 cable in a point-to-point configuration. Used in pairs, these HDTV Component Video - Stereo Audio Baluns support 480i/p, 720p and 1080i/p video formats for hi-definition video applications. The product allows five RCA cables to be replaced by one Category 5e/6 twisted pair cable allowing standard structured cabling techniques to be used for neater and more streamlined cabling. It is perfect for home theater, auditorium or small-business solutions for extending high-definition video feeds over long distances from their source with absolute minimal quality loss,if any. Consolidate your cables into one sleek run of cat5e/6 and save money at the same time. Enclosed in strong mountable metal enclosures. We recommend using shielded Cat6 cable for runs over 300ft. Compatible with our CW-2AB wall plate version.
