Classy Autos 36mm Festoon 6 LEDs SMD LED Bulb White for 3021 DE3021 6411 6413 6418 DE3423 DE3425 Replacement (A Pair)

First the good: The LEDs are very bright and do light up the license plate at night very well.Now for the bad. I ordered these for my rear license plate lights (uses two) which call for a 6418 model. After receiving these I installed one to replace the burned bulb and it came on but one of the 6 LED elements was burned and didn't light up. This was disappointing as I would have expected these to be properly Quality Control checked but clearly they weren't. The light was bright enough and not noticable that one of the elements didn't come on due to the angle they shine down on the plates. When I replaced the 2nd bulb at first it refused to come on even after flipping the polarity. But all of a sudden (after about 2 minutes) it came on but was flashing consistently as if it was meant to be a flasher. I swapped it out with the first bulb thinking maybe it was the socket but the other bulb (with the one burnt LED element) worked ok. I installed it in the 2nd socket and it behaved the same way. After wriggling it in place a few times it seems to cause it to stay on. But it was not consistent. There doesn't seem to be a any rhyme or reason why sometimes it would flash, sometimes it wouldn't come on, and other times it would stay on. Flipping the polarity only caused it not to work at all.Since my automobile detects failed lights throughout the car I get dashboard alerts that the license plate light left position does not work from time to time. Sure enough I would go look and it would either be flashing or not working at all.One additional note. The OEM bulb is also longer and fits more snugly. These LEDs are much smaller but still make contact. The only difference is that the OEM attaches to the cover that when removes also comes out with the cover thereby simplifying the removal of the bulb. With these LEDs you have to remove the cover and then independently remove the LED from the socket. Maybe not a big deal but at first I thought they were the wrong part because they didn't pre-mount in the cover (too small). So you have to mount first followed by the cover.So I'm giving this product a 2 due to malfunctioning and poor workmanship.

Neither bulb worked. I took my car to the shop thinking it was an electrical issue but they just told me these bulbs didn't work and charged me 20 for there own.UPDATE: Gave another attempt at installing these bulbs. After cleaning the connectors on my car and finneking around with it I finally got these LEDs to work. Even though they are symmetrical and unmarked, they only work if you install them in the correct orientation so flip them around if they don't work the first time. I also put some electrical paste on the ends, which I've never used before but it made a huge difference. The stay on and don't flicker anymore. Overall, they look great now and haven't gone out in the several months since I reinstalled them. I recommend picking up some electrical paste just to be safe with your order. I've been pulled over twice for missing lights on my rear plate. Never a fun experience because really they are just looking for something more to charge you with.

I ordered these Bulbs for my dome lights on my 2000 Honda Accord Coupe V6. (Also fits Trunk light of 2nd Generation Odyssey). One downside is that I have to adjust this bulb every month or so because vibrations overtime will make this bulb rotate out of its position and it will eventually be facing upside down. These bulbs are really not that bright either, but they are white. In fact, The stock incandescent seemed just a hair brighter. As usual with white LED bulbs, people are tricked when they first install white LED's because they are so white, that it seems brighter. And for those camera pictures, I'm pretty sure the camera's white balance is off, making the LED seem brighter. But overall, they do get the job done for making your car look kind of luxury. In the end, I think it is worth it!

The first bulbs I received were purchased from autocarstore (via Amazon). These bulbs arrived and I was impressed that the color was actually a brilliant clear white, and not the blue-white sometimes seen with lower cost "white" LED bulbs. The light intensity is about twice that of a standard bulb.I was so pleased with these bulbs I ordered another set, however, the bulbs came from a different seller and in completely different packaging. The light from the bulbs in the second order was not quite as white as the first pair. You can definitely tell that the second set, while still white colored, has a very slight blue tint compared to the bulbs I purchased from the first seller. This is not something most people would notice, but I can definitely see the difference.

I have bought other led bulbs of similar size and these bulbs seem more delicate. I am worried about how long they will last with the cold weather we have in Chicago. I used these to replace the license plates lights on my 2012 Kia Sportage. Wow are these bright. These lights splash a brilliant white light on the plates. They have a very light purple tint to them, so they aren't pure white. They are still cool though. The shipping estimate said they would take a month to arrive but they arrived in a week, definite bonus. The seller should fix that bc I could have cancelled the order if I was an impatient person. The value and performance of the lights make it a definite buy.

These are alright bulbs, with the right amount of current to illuminate them but not too much as to burn themselves out they would look very nice. unfortunately earlier this week i bought some other DE3175s' and they were 3x4 these are 2x3, so not as many LEDs' and not as bright as the other ones i bought. great size, good for a small car or cab of a truck. just know that these will give off a slightly blue-ish color of hue.They say 'White' but LEDs' can be deceiving and without the right amount of current they will give off a different color.
