Nice Mattress
The mattress is a medium firm. I like it very much. If you are using this mattress for a child's mattress. I think you will like the quality and your child should find it comfortable.

Love these mattresses
We bought two eventually for daybeds in our home...which end up being used mainly as 'snore beds' for us, as we're both getting older and well, y'know. They are extremely comfortable, although some might find them not quite firm enough if used to a traditional mattress and box-spring set only.Upon arrival, we just opened the boxes, cut the plastic holding it rolled & wrapped up, and let it pop into shape. Just in case there was any airing out needed, we did leave them sit in a well-ventilated room, unused, for a couple days. Early on, they were used only a little, but then we had family over and we decided to let them use the main bed while we retreated to the daybeds...and that's when we realized they really were amazingly comfortable. Almost made it hard to be up in the mornings.Pros:- Does not become too hot overnight as many memory foam mattresses do- Also doesn't become too soft- Good support all over, for us no back or hip pain upon waking in the morning- 33-inches wide is a rather unique size, but turned out to be perfect for our needs- No discernible chemical odor upon opening the package- Not as cheap as some, but still a very good value for the price- Seller delivered the item quickly and as describedCons:- Did notice the edge can kind of collapse under weight, unlike traditional mattresses which tend to be stiffer around the edges. Not a big deal, just a minor quibble and it does mean one can't really drape over the side without risk of rolling or slipping off. Might be less of an issue with the thinner models.- For some reason, these mattresses keep coming in and out of availability. We'd ordered one to be sure we liked it, decided we did, then I went back to order another for the second daybed and it was listed as "unavailable, don't know when it'll be available again." Then a week or so later, it was suddenly there again on Amazon. I don't know what the deal is or why, but I do think it's kind of an issue when products are available then gone so erratically. I don't know if it's a stock issue or what.Just Is:- It's a foam mattress. It's not a mattress and box-spring set, although I imagine one could put the mattress on top of a box-spring. We found it unnecessary.- No question the manufacturer uses a machine of some kind to fold, roll, and draw the air out to box it compactly for shipping. Means though it'd be difficult to re-roll it again if needed, such as for returning it. (Not that we plan to. Both of us love the new mattresses, huge improvement over the back-breakers we had before.)- The 33-inch width is an odd size, meaning it can be a bit of a hassle to find appropriate mattress pads and/or linens. We just went with twin sizes and lots of tucking. Imagine it might take a bit more for the 30" model. In sum, would we buy again? Yes, no question. Just wish the storefront & stock didn't keep disappearing.

So far I really like this mattress
So far I really like this mattress. I just thought it would be so much softer. It is very firm. I didn’t want firm I wanted soft. But it looks beautiful and expanded immediately after opening. Had a bad smell for a while (similar to walking inside of a nail salon). But overall happy I purchased.

Great for bunk bed camper
We purchased this mattress to replace the “glorified bath mats” that were installed in our brand new camper’s bunk beds. Campers have strange sizes of mattresses and this fit the bill perfectly. Good for an adult or child.

Great value, sleeping a lot better
This mattress is great! I waited a bit to review the mattress, since mattresses take a few weeks to adjust to, and in particular with packed mattress like this one, the mattress takes time (about 24-48 hours) to reach it's full form. Since the first night sleeping on the mattress, I have been sleeping much better. I wake up feeling rested, and I do not wake up in the middle of the night anymore. For myself, I purchased the Twin Size mattress. For a family member, I purchased a Queen size mattress. Shipping and Delivery was responsive - Typically from order placed to ship, was about one business day. The standard shipping for my location is effectively free two-day shipping whether or not you paid for the faster shipping due to the package originating from New Jersey. When the mattress arrived, removal of the mattress was easy. Cut open the box, slide the packaged mattress out, then use a knife to cut the vacuum packed mattress out of it's plastic. The mattress will begin to take shape almost immediately. I left both of mine laying on the floor for an hour or two, before putting them onto the bed frame, to allow them to take shape.Although the mattress takes 24-48 hours to take form, I was able to sleep on it from the first night. I can't tell a difference between the first night, second night, and the 14th night on the bed in terms of softness, so I'd say these take form rather quickly. For those not accustomed to a memory foam mattress, you'll notice that on the first or second night, it's tough to get out of bed or to adjust yourself. I found myself actually sleeping on my back (rather than on my side) for the first night or two, as that was more comfortable. Once I adjusted to the new feel, I went back to sleeping how I normally sleep. The Mattress does have a "new mattress" smell to it. Some describe it as a chemical smell. For me, I smell it as "new car smell." A few weeks after purchase I can still smell this, and it doesn't bother me. This is normal given the materials in use, and to be honest, I don't mind it at all.My initial fear about purchasing the bed was that it would be too soft or too hard. For me, it is just right. Your mileage may vary of course, but if a friend has a bed which is similar to this one, or the exact same one, it's worth a check.
