**update**I really meant to update this post awhile ago but so much has been going on and I have this material to partially thank for it. When I recieved the material it looked as if I was going to have air bubbles and air pockets all over my drum kit. Yes I used this material to re-wrap my Mapex Venus drum set, its a 7 piece kit. So I had an 8x8, 10x8, 12x10, 13x11 rack toms, 16x16 floor tom, 22x18 bass drum. I didn't use the wrap on the snare because I originally ordered a faux leather material and but it was small and had no self adhesive tape so I would of spent a fortune on spray adhesive. However after wrapping this kit and using the roller that was suggested to be purchased I found that all the wrinkles and all the air pockets came out flawlessly. Ive had this material for a decent amount of time and its been banged around, taken all across Florida and even up to New York. The only battle wound to show for it was my bass drum hoop got a crack in it because some guy dropped it. However this black wood grain wrap doesnt even have a scratch on it. It cut easy around the bearing edges on my toms, if it does get wet you can simply wipe it off and theres no harm no foul. I truly wish they had more finishes in this material as I would wrap every single kit I currently own. It's fast, easy, and doesn't make a huge mess with having to spray glue everywhere. Plus it cost so much less than what actual drum wrap companies charge. Had I purchased drum wrap from an actual company that specializes in it I would of easily spent over $500 or $600 dollars and I would of still had to put it on myself. This material was under $20 bucks which I purchased 2 (I still have material left over). I get countless compliments on how great and professional my wrap looks and when I tell them I did it by using material off Amazon they dont believe me until I show them my order invoice. If you do plan on wrapping anything with this material I STRONGLY suggest getting the little tool that has a wooden handle and is round at top. Its a roller but the part that rolls is made of this rubber like material, its firm but has a little give to it. Had I not of used that tool I would of had air pockets in my wrap. It was so amazing and felt great doing it all on my own. The snare drum is wrapped in the faux leather material and yes I did have to spray both sides and clamp it down overnight but the results were worth it. Even putting the hardware back on was so much easier than I imagined. I did wait at least 3 days to ensure the wrap had time to settle but I believe i could of put the hardware on right after wrapping the kit. In the pictures I show how it went from a bare shell (that was the 8x8 which of course was the easiest) and after cutting the material away from the bearing edge it was ready for hardware, new drum heads, then the drum hoop. I absolutely love the way my kit looks and ive had friends order different colors of this material and wrapped guitars, bass guitars, even subwoofer boxes. There is no end to what this stuff can do. However I wouldnt suggest wrapping your car in it lol. But other various objects that arent subjected to harsh environments is all fair game. The only reason I wouldnt use this on trim pieces for a car at least down here in Florida is I would think with our crazy heat and humidity the adhesive wouldn't hold compared to say wrapping a drum set lol. I'm sure it would stick but after a year or two mother nature would take its toll on this product. But I am so happy that I used this and totally regret only giving this product 3 stars as that was my ignorance of the product. Not the product its self. I play my kit a lot and I absolutely love my drum set. I love the look, I love the feel of the material. Most of all I love it when people ask me "what kind of drum set is that? It sounds amazing but I cant see any company badges on it?" That's when I break out my phone and show the before and after photos. The original wrap was only held on by a thin piece of glue and two staples! I couldnt believe Mapex would put a hole in the wooden shell just to keep the drum wrap on. I also converted the bass drum to a "virgin bass" meaning the bass drum had a double tom mounting bracket that had 4 screw holes and a 1 inch diameter hole in it where the tom mount would slide down to adjust the height. Using wood putty and a dowel (and lots of sand paper ) I was able to fill that hole and after the wrap went on you couldnt even tell it had any dents/dings/or massive holes. Now I just use two tom stands that hold two toms each and has a cymbal attatchment. The bass drum sounds amazing and thanks to this material it looks amazing. I will forever refer people to this product as it has made my drum kit look new compaired to the way it use to look. This kit is no longer made by Mapex as its a very old production kit. But no one would be able to tell just by looking at it because of the shiny beautiful wrap. I also included a photo of the snare drum and removed the pictures of the wrinkled wrap. As I stated before if you recieve this wrap and it looks to have wrinkles and such do not be alarmed as it will lay down flat and with the proper rolling tool you will have no problems making it look great. I would also advise to measure 3 times. Due to my lack of experience in doing this I wasted a lot of material the 1st 3 drums I wrapped. It was totally my fault and could of been avoided if only I had taken my time rather than trying to rush into it. I plan on wrapping my coffee table using the left over material and once done I'll try to show photos of that too. So stop reading this long review and purchase this already! Lol you wont find a better deal for such quality material. It definitely can take a beating. However I do wipe my kit before and after every show. But that's mainly beacause I sweat and when your playing it slings everywhere. I'm just thankful it can getting a little wet and not cause any problems. Just try not to throw whatever you wrap in the pool lol...Oh and I did remove my original review as I wrote it out of ignorance. Yes the material was .5 inches shorter but that's no reason to have given it such a bad review and the 2nd time I ordered it the material was actually 1inch over.Just so you know I did not recieve any discount for this review. Nor was I contacted and asked to re-write my original review. But I will promote and recommend this product to anyone who's looking to wrap a book shelf, drums, or anything else that would allow the sticky material to adhere to its surface.Oh and this material may feel thin when handling but its durable. Also there's guidelines on the back to help you with cutting and writing down different measurements. That really came in handy as it peels off so no one will see it and once its on you dont have to worry about it coming apart. While wrapping I kept the material very firm and it didnt rip or leave any marks. If I could give it 10 stars I would... And mind you when I first wrote this review is wasnt great. But again that was due to my ignorance of using a self adhesive wrap. Now I wouldnt use anything else!

Great for DIY
Very easy to use and great quality, I use it to cover a table I bought to match my room style and it was the best product. It doesn’t smell and super easy to take off if you make any mistakes

A little thin, but sticks very well
It's more of a sticker material than true vinyl. I used it to wrap a dresser, and it worked great! The more you use it, the better you get at wrapping. I recommend using a squidgy if you have one because it scratches easily.

Not forgiving
Get it right the first time. Paper is not forgiving.

Sticky but good product
This is well made however extremely sticky. I recommend but be sure you use it correctly or you may put it on an item and it would be difficult to correct placement once it is down.

Matches my desk perfectly!
I bought this contact paper to cover my brown dresser so that it matched my desk. I needed one roll for every two drawers. I was also able to cover the bottom of the dresser with the three rolls I purchased. I need at least one more for the sides but this option is way more affordable than buying a new dresser. Highly recommend!

Good for the money!
I had started a diy project in my downstairs small guest bathroom and had painted the cupboards black but hated it.I had the idea of maybe covering it with black wood looking adhesive paper. This definitely surprised me. After reading the reviews about it being thin etc I was anticipating alot of wastage but for the price I took a chance. Glad I did! Works perfectly and even better than another brand I had purchased off here that was 2 times the price and didn't work as well.I'm pretty happy for the purpose it serves. Use your discretion for where it will work well and go for it! I ordered more and will update review once cabinets are completed.I recommend taking time when unraveling the roll. I kept mine flat for a few hours before using. This helped to iron out any roll kinks. Also use a sharp scissors or wall paper knife for clean cuts around edges. The adhesive worked well for me so I was able to remove small sections if bubbled and pulled tightly again amd it still stuck again and didn't crumple.I'm thinking of using it to cover a white mounding trim and I figure it will work well because so far, good deal. I've saved so much dollars because wall and cabinet paper is so expensive for a tiny roll! 😅

Buena calidad, pero...
El producto es de muy buena calidad, pero la cantidad es muy escasa. Esto es, es un rollito mínimo y considero que es muy poco material por el precio pagado.

It's not scratch resistant and more
It looks as good as in the photo and relatively easy to apply but it has the following shortfalls;1- it is not scratch resistant2- it is not heat resistant and potential problems on sun exposure, better to use it indoor.3- problem with bubble forming no matter what technique you would employ.4- vertical versus horizontal application can appear quite different in terms colour intensity and pattern appearance.

Pretty realistic wood finish
I needed to refinish a speaker cabinet side due to UV aging. The veneer was dry and cracking.I could not find a veneer thin enough to be like the original wood veneer so decided to take a chance on this vinyl sheet.Im pretty happy with the results, the sheet has a nice simulated wood grain look, even touching it feels like wood veneer.Only give away it was too smooth to the touch.Very easy to apply, make sure you unroll it and let it relax for an hour or so.Use a hairdyer to make it more flexible for tighter edges or corners.Use a a credit card to smooth airbubbles or creases. You can lift the sheet to make corrections but when applying pull it so there be less chance of a crease. The finish is a matt look which what I wanted.Make sure the surface you are applying it to is smooth, dust and grease free and it would come out great.

Not great
Ive ordered a few different types of this product from various sellers and I’m disappointed with the quality of this product. Its much thinner than other similar products I've ordered and used. Also the adhesive is very poor quality, you will need to use your own adhesive if you want the product to stick product especially on the edges. The pattern is good.

Useful for smaller projects
This being the cheaper paper, not the easiest to use. I used it to cover the wood strip (very dated) on my cupboards. It does work but trying to use on my mantle, a larger piece, won’t work unless you cut it in smaller sections, don’t want to do that
