Grass for Grazers....
A very good book for those who have a fundamental interest in range science as it presents much of the background behind what is commonly accepted as accurate today. With the background data, one can then tailors the data and guidance to their specific range.

Good Book
This book told about rotational grazing. I was a bit dissapointed that it went into more of the math behind roatational grazing and did not tell more about how rotational grazing helped to improve the pastures and grass. Overall a very infomative book that you must read several times to take in all that is contained within.

Incredible wisdom
Understanding this book would confer the knowledge of a college education in agriculture. I wish I read this book 40 years ago.Why was it not part of the agriculture curriculum?

Excellent, but you'll want the bigger book by the same author and subject. It has more details. This is just as it presents, a melding of two previous works.

This is it. Allan Nation
It is outstanding that we are still reluctant to understand the proper use of grazing, The author is the original founder of "rational grazing" (1957 !!)and even for other non-temperate areas it is still a classic worth reading and rereading, not for nothing is the basis of Holistic Range Management by Savory.
