Best Heated Vest On The Market & It’s Down!
Works beautifully. The down is an extra boost for warmth. I used this on vacation in Europe and at home. I do wear a thin jacket with solid sleeves over it. Just a thin layer kept all the heat in. It was perfect!!! I have a lot of arthritis, and I had no pain using this vest. I did buy the backup battery for this vest since I use it constantly. The backup/replacement battery is smaller in size than the one that comes with it. I use the ORORO replacement battery more than the one that comes with it. They both work just as long. I wear a size 10 and a large fits me well. If in doubt go a little larger. Since it’s down, I save my batteries for when it really gets cold. My friends are even buying the same vest.I researched a lot of vest before making my decision. The other ones just don’t compare to this one.

In love
I absolutely love this heated vest. The only reason I took off a star is because I thought I was getting the updated battery and I was given an original bulky one. I also think it takes a little too long to heat up but I'm counting that as a negative towards my patience level and not the vest. I really like that it has down fill. I love that it has the removable hood as well.

TRIP TO CANADA
I chose small but should have gotten medium, (my mistake) last minute purchase so not enough time to exchange. Had to wear under large jacket, so was tough to use the hand heat function while outside in single-digit temperatures. Other than that, this is a great jacket, I picked this because I love hoods and it had the neck heater. The battery is heavy & bulky, but since this is not a daily wear for me, it is not worth the extra $ to buy the lighter battery. I was slightly worried about going through TSA checkpoints, so I kept the vest & battery in my luggage with the original packaging in case it was searched. I wish I knew this existed a long time ago.

Amazing
I am in love with this vest!!!! I am 5'2 and weigh 120lbs, got a small and its small, like wear a long sleeve t-shirt only underneath or maybe a thin sweater.Delivery was so fast and quick, charged the battery pack overnight, got the vest on and I was in heaven. It was so warm, easy to maneuver the battery pack into the pocket. The jacket is a bit heavy, but you don't notice it when wearing the vest. The battery pack is kind on of you hip which is awkward but not a deal breaker. I almost wanted to sleep in this thing it was so warm!Well worth the price, I may just purchase a medium just in case!

LOVE THIS VEST!!!
LOVE THIS VEST!!! Well worth the investment! It keeps my hands warm inside the pockets at the rodeos & gets very warm on my back too! I normally wear a size small shirt. I ordered this in an extra small & it fits snug -but I want it to so that the heat is next to my body.

No Battery Included first time
I was so excited to receive and try this out, but when I unzipped the battery pocket there was nothing there. The battery was missing. Not in the box or attached anywhere else. So disappointing.Fit is fine. The arm holes come down really low. But everything else is TTS. I don’t think this fits tight at all.Edit: wow I clearly first reviewed a vest that has been opened. This second one came in plastic wrapped with a storage bag, battery, and charger. Fit was great. Just need to do better care when packaging and sending. Glad I returned for a product that was correct!

Doesn't Deliver the Heat
I purchased this vest as a gift for my wife as she feels cold during the fall to spring months. She would wear it primarily indoors most of the day, and if she liked the product then I would have invested in a second battery or a second product. The vest fits well, it is easy to operate, the battery didn't seem too intrusive, and she seemed to like it. The only problem was that my wife said that it wasn't very warm, and I then confirmed that it only got to ~33C average temperature on "High" after about 5.5 hours of operation. I used an infrared temperature probe to measure the inside temperature of the heating elements and then averaged them. After ~5.5 hours of operation the battery still showed 2 of 4 LEDs. I checked the connections, I tried a different temperature setting to no avail and subsequently returned the vest.Follow upI purchased a 2nd vest thinking that the 1st vest was defective in some way but experienced the same issue. The 2nd vest achieved ~35-36C avg temperature on "High" after ~2.5 hours (3 of 4 battery LEDs remaining). My wife confirmed that it was slightly warmer but still far from the specified 55C temperature. Although I had intended for my wife to wear it indoors on "Low" most of the time, I did expect that on occasion she would wear it outdoors during the winter, but the vest does not generate nearly enough heat for outdoor use, so I have returned it and will now consider alternative products

Size: Small, comfortable, produces comfortable heat
The media could not be loaded. Got the small size a week ago. I just eyeballed that it might fit my short frame. I’m 5 ft tall and mostly all legs. I was worried that the vest might turn out too long for my short body length. It turned out find. Even covers a portion of my hips. It is well made, no loose seams or torn stitches. It would work well as an inner layer, or on outer layer on top of long sleeves thermal wear (whatever floats your boat). It is not very thick, which makes sense as the heating element at the front, closer to bottom (no heating element at the chest level) and at the back you can feel the heat from neck, to shoulder, wide at the back. It has pockets perfectly aligned against the heating elements in the front, I can do without gloves. It kept my hands from being cold. There is an inner pocket with zipper on the bottom left side that to me is around the hip area which I barely noticed after awhile. This is the pocket for the batteries. The batteries might look big, but you get used to it. It’s not so heavy where you feel a pull on the jacket. It becomes barely noticeable after frequent use you might forget to charge it. Besides the zipper, there are snaps at the front. You can choose either option or both. The instructions are easy to understand, and may not even need to read it and use common sense. The battery came with a charge, but I did plug it in fully to see how long I can use it indoors before the battery runs out. My test might be a little skewed since I tested it indoors. The button in front if you hold it down for 3 seconds will turn the heating element on. It starts as a blinking red (about 5 mins more or less) almost to get it to a set temp to start and then automatically turns to white (medium heat). You can click it again to either shift from blue (lowest setting) or red (highest setting) as needed. It does get warm/hot fast. At the highest setting, it was too hot for me for indoors. Mostly changed from white and blue throughout the day. Kept me pretty warm for the whole work period (kept the house slightly cool to test). I haven’t tried it outside yet with even colder temps going down below zero. I am curious to know how long the charge will last if consistently set at the highest temp. I can only surmise, that if dressed properly, you could keep the settings at medium heat to extend the charge. It has a hood that would help cover my head if I was outside and wanted to block cold air. it also can be removed if needed. It is on the expensive side but I think the quality is worth it from initial tests. I will update again once I have tested outside and how long the battery lasts on high setting.

Battery was garbage. They promptly sent me a new one!
Charged the battery when I got it. Just went to charge it again and it won’t charge. The lowest light just continues to blink. Been trying for 2 days.I got ahold of them through the website and they quickly shipped me out a new battery. I’m shipping the old one back so good on them for wanting the old one back so they can see what’s up with it and QC it so they can continue to have good products.

Not as warm as you may think
Sizing is fairly accurate and I was able to get a good size representation through the chart provided by seller. The battery is quite hefty and while it is indeed palm sized, it is a brick. Be aware. Charging it was not a problem and I was relieved. There is a hidden, zippered pocket on the inside of the vest for the battery and it connects and is held in securely. Turning on the heat and adjusting temperature grades is easy and tactile. My problem with this purchase is that it simply does not get that warm. Even on max the heating is tepid at best and it isn’t even full on winter yet and I’m already finding the warmth lacking.Thankfully it is a well made down vest as a base and so I’m not too upset about it but do wish it was much, much warmer.

Size Up If You Wear Layers
For reference I am 5'6", 150lb, 36c. and I wear medium for everything but I ordered a large. If I have a base layer and a fleece jacket underneath medium would be too snug. I also wanted to wear around the house so I wanted something more relaxed fit since the product is a slim fit. When you turn it on red (high heat) after 4, 5 minutes it turns it down automatically to white (medium) every time when you turn it on.I wanted to ask the seller if it was defective but Amazon customer service just suggested that I return it and buy it again instead of exchange.I bought it on Amazon member sale. If I return it and buy it again I would have to pay full price, $50 more than what I bought for.
