Bulk Buy: Red Heart Super Saver (2-Pack) (Frosty Green, 7 oz Each Skein)

I originally ordered two skeins of Frosty Green to make an afghan for a future grandson. Realizing I needed two more, I orded two more. When I received them, though marked Frost Green, they were a diffrent shade of green. I ordered two more, but waited until I received them before continuing to ceochet thevafghan. I needevto see what color of Frost Green I received, figuring i would be able to continue the original project, or start over with the second shade. Turns out they were even a different shade than either of the prior orders, they seemed closer to the shade of the second set, so I started over. I started to add the third skein to the second afghan, but the interior of the fifth skein seems to be soaked in some sort of string perfume. I started sneezing, I've had to use my asthma inhaler twice, and literally had to cut that skein off and put the yarn outside. Red Heart does not have dye lots as they guarantee their skeins will match. The labels are identical on all six skeins. I am so disappointed. I am now shopping different brands to start this project over completely.

I thought I had enough yarn for my blanket but I was wrong! My local craft store went out of business so I was glad I was able to find a good deal on the same yarn online. Finished the project and I think it turned out really well- very warm and cozy :)

My girlfriend does alot of crocheting and was very pleased with this product

I needed to finish a project and liked this color. The yarn is a bit scratchy for an Afghan.

I was running out of this color and the 'craft store' where I bought it no longer carries yarn., so I took a chance ordering this because. Red Heart is right about no dye lot needed. It matched what I had perfectly. What a relief.

Colour is lovely and soft and the yarn is a thick ply.
