Exactly as advertised! Can't wait to use them!Update I only checked one of the bottle when I left the review before still exactly as advertised but one of the bottles is chipped and has a small crack leading down the bottle from the chip overall still good just probably can't pressure cook that one which is a bummer

Just got my bottles. They are almost identical to my other brand bottles.they are not messed up or flawed. They seem to be exactly as described. Cheap price for a media bottles.Ok I just used them in the pressure cooker to make agar and liquid culture for my lionsmane. They turned out perfect.Just loosen the lid pre pressure cook.Seal them after it goes to 0 psi.

They're exceptionally cheap, Chinese media bottles. They're covered in minor cosmetic defects and the printing is rough, but the glass is at least 2mm thick and they autoclave fine. I'm very happy with them.The people that had their bottles explode probably heated them with the caps tightly screwed on. Don't do that, unless you want to endanger your safety.

I bought 9 of these bottles and they are nice and sturdy. However, if you are doing micro work, when I dissolved agar in water and heated it in the microwave discovered that they leak. Once in the autoclave (121C) the agar boiled over. The lab room smelled like burned sugar from the autoclave tray. Think about how you are going to use these bottles before buying them.

These are actually really good media bottles. The rest for the 4 stars is I had one crack on me. It did have a flaw in the glass I noticed before use. Also not completely water tight seal. They will boil over if pushed.I bought 3 more anyway and am happy using them. The ring makes it so nice and clean to pour agar.

No issues at all. Work great for storing and pouring agar. No issues at autoclave temps.No noticable difference in performance between these and more expensive brands.I have recommended this to other and will do so again.

Excellent quality for the money. Glass is thick and I've been able to put them through the autoclave at least a dozen times without any problems. I even dropped one on concrete floor and didn't have any problems!I can tell I'll need to replace the caps, but that's to be expected (and not needed yet after a dozen runs). Using my most accurate cylinder, it seems like the graduation marks are accurate enough for storage bottles. I'm very happy with these.

These are top quality . Very pleased with the price and quality will purchase more handles high heat and cold temps.
