Conté à Paris The Sketch Set with Assorted Sketching Pencils

Good. Nothing much to say it just works and the colors are great.

They blend well. Only problem is they break easily. So I don’t apply too much pressure on them. Sharpening is a lil difficult.

Nice quality set. Enjoy drawing with these.

This medium was required for a drawing class I am taking. I’m new to Conte’ but I am enjoying more than I thought I would. So much so I ordered more options and black charcoal paper to have more fun.My first project was an 🦉, other than the eyes used only white Conte’ and negative space. It was a fun project. Was a fan of charcoal but may be moving on to Conte’ ☺️

A stocking stuffer for a teen Christmas guest who is a talented artist. Allows her to explore new tools. So wonderful to have guests for our holiday celebrations!

I love this sketch set. The assortment is nicely varied, with graphite, black charcoal, colored charcoal, and carbonne pencils. I especially like the colors: the blacks of the carbonne, pierre noire, and charcoal are super dark and the sepia and sanguine lay on thick. The white is a little disappointing, however.They sharpen pretty well, but they don't get to a tiny point other than the graphite pencils, which is good for shading. The set generally smudges nicely with tortillions for shading purposes. I would recommend this set for sketching, especially on toned paper.

I was having a lot of issues with my other pencils that keep breaking of. These ones are just right.
