Smaller than i thought but still really nice.

Beautiful chess set. Very elegant and classy looking. Small enough to be portable, but pieces are nice size and have some weight to them. The squares are a little bit hard to see in the light, so we put something dark underneath it, for better contrast. Nothing too bothersome, we love it!

I had one of these but the glass board broke and had to get another one

This is definitely not the best chess set on the market however given the cheap price the quality is pretty good. My set did come with some chipping on the pieces however all the pieces were there none missing. It’s the perfect size for my needs I do wish it was magnetic as my pieces do tend to get knocked around a bit. Super easy to use if you know how to play chess or are learning. You do not have to put anything together and like I said it’s really good quality given the price

I ordered these because I wanted a more modern set than the usual cream and brown wood. The other reviews made me a little skeptic but this was the only glass kit I could find that’s under $50 so I took a chance. THIS SET IS AMAZING. Seriously. Maybe I got lucky but pieces arrived nice and secure in formed polystyrene, no chips or anything. Even though I’m not using the board it arrived in perfect condition too with no scratches. They have protective pads already on the bottom and I will also say that one of my cats decided to knock one on a wood floor from table height, and even that didn’t break or chip it! I would absolutely buy again and would even be happy to give as a gift. Take the broken reviews with a pinch of salt, it’s worth a chance!!

It's smaller than I imagined it would be, but it's still a nice size. The glasswork isn't perfect, the bottoms of the pieces having some amateurish rough bumps on the bottoms. The felt pads included with the set are paper-thin and do nothing to even out the uneven bottoms of the pieces, although they do protect the glass board (you will have to take 10 minutes to attach the pieces yourself). Still, it is functional, and I'm surprised at how the felt bottoms held up for feeling like nothing more than cheap fuzzy tape. Besides those blemishes, the set is beautiful; the board is flawless and the pieces look great and are nice to hold, as long as you're not touching the bottom. The felt bottoms also don't ruin the look of the board at all, something I was originally concerned about. You can barely see them when attached to the pieces. I would recommend this one simply from naivety, but I'd personally like to buy a few other sets before I really gauged this one. As a first time set, it gets the job done just fine, I certainly don't regret buying it. I originally set this review to 4 stars, but then remembered that there are probably far better sets out there for just a few dollars more, so I put it down to 3.

I had a glass chess set when I was in middle school during the early 2000s, for some reason this boxed set of glass chess pieces, even the box brings in a feeling like I seen this style before. I love it out of pure nostalgia and feeling of the pieces. The frosted glass especially is top notch. While it has some small feign scratches probably from shipping, I'm not looking to keeping it out of style but out of memories. 10/10

I was really scared that may be I'll get broken pieces or something But thankfully amazon really delivered it with care . All pieces are fine and good You should must buy 🤌🏻 The finish I must say really amazing.

The glass chess set took approx. 2 weeks to arrive. When unpacking, we found some of the pieces were chipped and cracked. It would be great to get these replaced instead of sending back the whole set.

Todo bien, es pequeño pero muy bonito. Solo 2 piezas llegaron medio sucias pero nada que no se solucione con un trapito.

Bought it for my Electronic chess board DGT Pegasus and they work right out of the box, almost. Some pieces needed to be sanded so they sit flat otherwise my DGT Pegasus doesn't recognize that there is a chess piece on that square. All you do is take a flat sheet of sandpaper and just rub the chess piece bottom on the sandpaper a few times to get rid of the glass ridges. I bought two sets just to have the extra queens. Will keep the rest in the box and store them away for some future date when I feel comfortable to throw away. will use for replacement if pieces are broken. The nice thing is the chess pieces are well packed in foam and then the whole foam pack is inside a bubble wrap bag then inserted in a box. Two sets were packed in a box with air bags, so nothing was broken. Chess pieces is slightly rough to the touch but ok. Nice cheap to the feel but ok looking. Good size especially for my DGT Pegasus board. Highly recommended.

Disappointed with the item. Very small and it is not mentioned inbthe description that it is for kids. There is no bag, just a cardboard. Not suitable for an adult gift and it is not worthy its price unfortunately.
