I bought these as a gift for my dad's birthday. He's an all around outdoorsman and needs polarized glasses for fishing, etc. He loves the fact that they are lightweight and that the sides are flexible. They look really nice on him! I will update once he's had for awhile to let you know how well they hold up.

I have been the "let's just try it and see" guy on many occasions. I have had decent success actually. But these glasses are FANTASTIC. Buy them NOW! The lenses were a bit smaller than I usually like but they weigh nearly nothing. The polarizing is great. For the money I haven't found a better set of sunglasses. I got Silver and they look chrome. I'll buy the Brown next. Worth more than the money paid.

Just a couple days after receiving these glasses, I made the mistake of taking them with me onto a roller coaster. They flew off at the top of an 85' drop, while traveling about 55 MPH and then they crashed to the ground. I found them on the ground outside the fence after we got off the ride. The frames were completely undamaged: no scratches, scrapes or dents. The lenses popped out and I only found one of them, but it too was unscathed. No scratches. I placed it back in the frame and it was good as new (...if only I could have found the other lens). So although I only had the glasses for a couple days, I'm a big fan. They are very well made, very comfortable to wear and nicely packaged. I've just ordered a replacement pair... I will be more careful with the new pair.

They're light weight, comfortable, and stylish... As are my wife's. They're polarized, my wife's are not. They have quality spring hinges, my wife's do not. I do not see any bending or distortion in the optics. The coating is even. A side by side comparison proves these are better quality, better sunglasses, minus the designer name. Does that REALLY matter? Then Feirdio is a very exotic designer. Highly coveted by those in the know, don't you know? Now you do. I guess that makes these $500 sunglasses... But I'll sell you mine for $300. I'll even throw in a little bag and micro-fiber cloth at no additional charge! No? Tell ya what, I like you. I wouldn't do this for anyone. I have a connection for these. I can get more. I can let them go for $240, that's over 50% off! I'll even add a little jewelers screwdriver, a polarization test card, and a nice little box. Enjoy! I'm SO confident people would pay that price without question once they see these, I'm buying another pair to sell! These are easily worth ten times the price for which Amazon is selling them. In short, yes, these are the sunglasses you want, but you better buy 2 or 3 pair. I guarantee someone will be interested in buying a pair from you. They're that good.

I have a relatively large head as far as hat sizing, balaclavas, etc. These are just right for me, and feel better quality than the stuff off the rack at the local sports store.

I bought the black/gunmetal polarized sunglasses.They are fairly decently tinted dark. The are slightly polarized, not as good as the pair I was replacing though and they were only $25. The glare on the backside is terrible. It is almost worse than going without glasses. The glare makes it seem like there is dirt or something on the glasses, that is how bad it is. Would I buy them again? No. Am I going to send them back? No, they still work and will be a good pair for wearing at work.All in all, good tint, some fair polarization, but horrid reflective glare inside.

I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleased to be wrong.I bought these for when I'm messing around on cars. I ordered my third set of replacement Oakley flak jacket lenses (I had them on my head under a car and ruined them) the same time I bought these.I bought these for "beater" glasses, they're super comfortable and surprisingly clear. I couldn't be happier with them.

I like the way they look but the nose protector bugs me a little after a while... I like that they include the screwdriver to fix them if needed and I liked that it came in a proper case.
