A nearly perfect tinted moisturizer with SPF
I'd heard about this tinted moisturizer on several beauty blogs and decided to try it, since I was in the market for a paraben-free and retinyl palmitate-free product with decent SPF coverage. My current skin shade is exactly in between Alaska and St. Moritz. I usually use Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer in 60 (Neutral to Tan). I debated which NARS shade to get for a long while then decided to go for St. Moritz since it is now summer and I'll probably tan a shade up. Application is very smooth (I do wear moisturizer under this product, though). The product has a very light but pleasant floral scent (it disappears minutes later, don't worry), it blends remarkably well, and covers minor blemishes better than I had expected. I do wish it wasn't so tan-yellow...this is probably one of the darkest shades of light medium that I've ever encountered. I think I'll probably purchase Alaska and blend the two. There is a definite yellow tone to this shade - wish it were a bit more neutral/beige. However, the pros (easy application, nice sheer-to-light coverage, decent SPF, doesn't cause my skin to flake, 8 hour wear, no parabens) outweigh the yellowish shade issue. Highly recommend and hope that NARS expands this line to include more neutral shades in the medium tone spectrum. If you are on the fence about this shade, I'd recommend, especially if your skin has a definite yellow-tan undertone. I'm a convert!

PERFECT.. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
I was wanting something that was light yet covered my flaws n evened my skin out ... This did EXACTLY that .. not too cakey or greasy , super light weight and gives the right amount of coverage. I've put a before and an after so u can tell exactly how much coverage it gives ... Its not like your skin is going to look like Baby skin , it evens-out all the patchy, reddish parts n gives a uniform look .. if that's wat you're looking for THIS IS IT

Perfect for every day use.
Nice texture it glides on. Creamy with just enough tint to even out skin tone. Keeps skin moisturized throughout the day. Sun protection.

Perfect in every way
I had been using (and loving) Nars Compact Powder Foundation because I don't like a heavily made up look. Started reading and researching about these new BB creams everyone is talking about and found some great reviews about the Nars Tinted Moisturizer. Although it does not claim to be a "BB" cream per se, I am amazed at the results! I am over 40 and struggling with dry skin in spots and very oily skin in other spots. I liked the Powder foundation because it absorbed the oil but in my drier spots it wasn't so flattering, made me look older than my years. So after reading another review about what shade would work for me (I also chose Finland because my normal powder shade is Deauville), I ordered and am SO happy I did! Let me tell you, I am amazed! I used to liberally apply concealer everywhere from under my eyes to my sun spots, etc. and now I don't have to! I don't know how but I get great coverage from this TM yet my natural skin shows through. It blends well around my eyebrows and hairline as long as I am careful not to use too much, which is tempting because at first you will be afraid you are not using enough - it goes on very sheer. I have been using it for about 2 weeks and my skin has improved considerably, too. I do have to use my regular moisturizer underneath as it is not quite rich enough for my mature skin but then I apply and finish off with translucent loose powder. My skin absolutely glows, even in bright daylight and it is a perfect color match to my skin tone. I am hooked! Once again, Nars saves the day.

Give it a minute before deciding you got the wrong shade.
The moment the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer arrived, I tried it. I chose Annapurna, because it said 'medium', which usually works for me. I didn't want to go any lighter, because makeup that is too light tends to look awful even though I have fairly light skin. I also wanted a little bit of color, enough to look healthy. I recommend three things when you first try it. 1. Don't use very much. A little goes a long way. I used too much and my face looked abnormally reddish-brown. I washed it off and decided the shade wouldn't work for me. 2. Give it a minute before tossing it out if it looks too dark. The next morning I tried it again. Again, my face looked abnormally red/brown. This time, I didn't wash it off. A few minutes later, it looked good! It was the right shade for me after all. 3. It was really hard to get the stain off my hands. When I thought I had my hands clean, I dried them and more stain came off on the towel. I may use a makeup brush for it in the future. It does give a healthy natural glow and makes my skin feel great. I love the texture. It doesn't look as natural and/or creamy as some of my other choices. It looks a little splotchy. I may not buy it again. The jury is still out on it.

Goes on after my moisturizer, eye cream, and primer – blends right in and has a really great natural tint for my base. 100% buying forever

Great product but bit pricey
My go to tinted moisturizer - so much lighter than foundation but gives a smooth and even skin tone. Has a slight bit of sheen, super smooth - only downside is the price, as tube lasts approx a month and is $50

Good product, but not light enough
I have very pale skin with freckles, but even this lightest shade is slightly too dark for me. It also has a pronounced yellowness. While this seems to cancel out some of the redness in my cheeks, it clashes with my overall skin color. But to ignore the color, for a moment, it does seem to make my skin (texture and evenness) appear nicer than it is. It doesn't break me out and I'm always pleased to use a product that protects my skin from the sun. Sometimes, I find that it's not moisturizing enough and it starts to "separate" on my face. I've taken to using a moisturizer beforehand, or occasionally combining it with a moisturizer and then applying it. The latter also helps to tone down the color, while still giving light coverage. NARS recently came out with an even lighter shade—Terre Neuve—which has less yellow, more pink. This sounds like it may be better suited for my complexion.

I spent forever finding the right shade and texture. I do like this stuff. It's a little bit glowy for my liking but I just matte it out with a matte pad and it's perfect 45 yrs.
