I must say that my 8 month old ridgeback puppy absolutely enjoyed playing with this. Considering she is a large breed I bought a large size as advised. I was hoping it would last longer than 2-3 days. She was able to rip off the outer cover the same day but continued to play with the rubber which she broke open in the next day or 2. Perhaps something bit more durable would have been nicer to have.

This is definitely a fake kong toy… didn’t even last an hour with a 1 year old dog… I have been using kongs for long and I know they really last

I am an ardent King toy buyer. I’ve been purchasing it for over 5 years and must I say it’s the e best dog toy quality ever, however not this time. This was my first time Kong purchase from Amazon, my dog small breed whose kong toys last for years together, she managed to rip this apart in less than 5 minutes. It’s appalling to me that when spoken to the Amazon team Sneha and another girl, they said take this up with the company directly. I am shocked at this one off yet extremely unprofessional and unlike Amazon team reply. Do not buy Kong from Amazon as it is guaranteed fake or extreme inferior quality however the price you pay is that of an original.

This was a great hit with my staffy x cross but like a tennis ball the cover came off quickly and it was soon destroyed

Hi Got this for my dog for Christmas. It's already ripped and in the bin. It didn't last a week. I don't have a particular big dog either but he chewed this up in a matter of days!

I have two dogs: Mac is 80 pounds and Angie is 40 lbs. None of the stuffed toys last more than five minutes. First, Mac performs a squeaker-ectomy, and then they share pulling the stuffing out to form a hundred cotton balls. We don't buy stuffed toys for them anymore.This Kong Air Dog Squeaker Bone, or "tenny-bone" as we and my dogs know it, is great. Most importantly: it is durable. Our last one held up for over a year before they managed to chew it into two pieces, and even then they loved chasing and fetching the pieces. The unique bone-shaped tennis "ball" construction provides a fuzzy feel in their mouth, which they seem to really enjoy. Plus it gives an erratic bounce much like a rabbit or similar energetic prey would imitate in the wild. My throwing technique is to hold it at one end and throw it like a knife so that it tends to bounce and tumble more upon landing. Being a bright chartreuse color helps to locate it in heavy brush, too.Besides the rather distracting semi-phallic image when a dog carries it in his/her mouth, there are few complaints I have about this dog toy. The fuzzy outer covering can be ripped off. My dogs removed one half of the covering of this latest candidate within three weeks. We leave it outside and it seems to lose some of its canine appeal when it is soaking wet. Perhaps keeping it indoors might help it retain its cover longer.All in all - this is one great dog toy and a good value. I bought two this time, so that we have a spare at the ready when we will inevitably need it.

As a Kong toy I thought that this would be durable enough to withstand some chewing from a small lab. Not so, felt ripped off in 3 mins. (think part of problem is that the raised embossed brand badge exposes an easy to grab edge from which the rest of the surface can be ripped) Dissapointing.
