Still kickin' 6 years later
I've been using this desk since 2017. It has lived in two different apartments and been used frequently. I really like it, though it isn't perfect - I cannot stand the cheap fabric-y material of the side shelves, two of which have collapsed over time and no longer sit/slide correctly. But other than that it's really fantastic especially for the price. The surface angle is easy to adjust, though these days I mainly use it flat and use it as a standard desk. The stool it came with was solid and lasted for years without issues, though I eventually replaced it with a normal swivel chair which was a great upgrade (it's hard to sit for hours at a time without any back support, after all). Other than the stupid shelves it still looks great, the pink color pops in real life and there's also a ton of space underneath for spare paper, a printer or whatever else. This is overall one of my favorite purchases, it's well-made and durable and has so far withstood the test of time. I just really hope that they consider making those shelves a little less...sucky.

The desk itself is a great little desk
The desk itself is a great little desk. It was assembled fairly easily in about 2 hours in our spare bedroom (it took me longer than it probably should have because I was sweating in the room it was going into, and I kept having to wipe my glasses off to see the instructions).I was impressed with how sturdy it is; I'm using it as an airbrush workstation, and my airbrush holder clamps on to the edge of the desk just fine, my air compressor fits nicely on the top of the three drawer system, and my fold up easel sits nicely on the bottom shelf. The stool is even more comfortable than I expected, too; I've had stools like this before and they felt like I was perched on a hard disk of pain, which is not conducive to an hour or two of artwork. This stool, however, has nice cush to it, and after sitting at it for 2 hours while I was working on a t-shirt for my wife, I still felt good - no numbness in my butt, no pain in my lower back. I suspect that after a lot of usage, the foam will probably break down and need to be replaced, but at that point I'll just switch out to an office chair. The only thing that takes this from 5 stars down to 4 is the fabric drawers. In one of the drawers, I have all of my airbrush paints in a box, so that I can see them and not have them rolling all over the place. However, the soft sided drawer isn't really meant for more than about a pound of weight in it, so it tends to flex and splay, collapsing a bit under the weight. The other drawers, which have things like my exacto knives, some pencils, and masking materials, are much lighter, and slide in and out easily. But hey, the desk cost me $90, which included the stool; It was the best price for what I wanted out of the desk, and I'm not going to complain too much about the drawers. :) My solution is going to be an acrylic rack similar to those that nail salons have to display nail polish, and I'll just set it next to the air compressor, on top of the drawers. If you're in the market for an art/craft desk, definitely worth your consideration!

Really happy with it!
I thought this desk was well designed. At first I thought the instructions were a little lacking, but the drawings were numbered and very clear. The project assembled very well.My only real complaint was the slightly textured surface. Why on earth would anyone create a drawing surface that wasn’t completely smooth? The back side certainly is, and don’t think I didn’t look at reversing it!The texture may not be enough to cause me problems. If it does, then I’ll just add a vinyl cover like I had to do with my first drafting table that I got 45 years ago. It folded up and if it hadn’t stupidly given it away, I wouldn’t have needed this one.But this is a decent replacement and I’ll be content with it.**UPDATE**Well, after months I finally used the desk. I have no worries. I thought the texture on the desk surface would transfer to a drawing. It doesn’t. I used 20lb printer paper and a 0.7mm pencil and only got smooth lines. It’s great. The stool? Well, it’s built like a rock. I’ma big boy and it didn’t feel anything but solid. Very solid. So solid that you will likely need a cushion. It started to hurt after awhile.*** Second Update ***I’ve been using the table daily for awhile now. The stool is gone, I have replaced it with my comfy rocking chair that I’ve had for 40 years. I certain the arms would be in the way, but it was like it was made for it. I could not be any happier. This thing is absolutely perfect!

KIDS WONT HATE THIS ONE !!
The 2 Piece Comet Art, Hobby, Drawing, Drafting, Craft Table is an excellent option for artists, hobbyists, and crafters who need a versatile and functional workspace. The table consists of two separate pieces: a table top and a set of drawers on wheels, which can be arranged in a variety of configurations to suit your needs. One of the standout features of this table is its adjustable angle table top, which can be tilted up to 40 degrees for comfortable drawing and drafting. The table top is also quite large, measuring 36" x 23.75", providing ample space to work on projects of all sizes. The accompanying drawers on wheels provide convenient storage space for art supplies, tools, and other materials, and can be easily moved around to wherever they are needed. The drawers themselves are sturdy and well-constructed, with smooth gliding mechanisms that make them easy to open and close.
