Evercare Pet Hair Extra Sticky 60 Layer Lint Roller

This is essential last piece in the arsenal of products you need to try to stay ahead of 3 shredding cats. I've found that there really isn't one Holy Grail product so you sort of have to use a myriad of products - including my latest idea which is working terrifically (I use a cat brush to lightly brush the hair off of fabrics, especially bed sheets). If you own a cat, you will have a brush and/or comb and just using those items tends to pick up the bulk of the hair. Then I use this lovely finishing product - the Pet Hair Extra Sticky roller to get at the last little bits. Think of it as the super duty hair spray you use at the very last after having a complex up-do performed by your hairstylist (especially the ladies that read this review will totally understand what I mean by this).Without first brushing the surface, you can practically go through a 50 sheet lint roller on just one bed sheet. But just brushing slightly above - but low enough to make the slightest contact with the surface - with a pet brush/comb or even some of the other pet hair removing products like a traditional suit jacket lint removers (the ones that are black with the red fabric you run across your suit in one direction to pick up lint) to those plastic pet brushes where the bristles catch the hair - and you will be amazed by how much you pick up with this step.My major hair source of cat hair is the bed or a pile of laundry. For fitted sheets I will use my vacuum with a mattress attachment before removing the sheet and the fitted sheet remains tucked in but once again, I will still give it a once over with the Evercare sticky tape. But any flat sheet or bedspread (especially those with lighter fabric like a duvet cover without the winter duvet in it) doesn't work well with the vacuum attachment.You really have to take a multi-pronged approach but finish up the job with this special lint roller because it gets those little baby chick hairs that tend to hang on for dear life that cats with an undercoat tend to shed. Great product - just wish it was more affordable, even the re-fills.

I work in the Pet Care Industry so keeping clean of pet hair and other dandruff is important to me because I want my clothes to stay looking g clean and this EverCare Pet Hair Extra Sticky gets it ALL up off of me. I might see a few stragglers after I am done but very few.

Like to keep these on hand for fur removal before leaving the house...have several other lint removers as well...good, reliable brand.

While the sheets themselves are great, the fit of the roller was not so good. When rolling, the tube kept moving "up" and I'd have to repeatedly re-seat it on the roller. Don't know if the roller was at fault or the tube, though, because a refill I put on fit so snugly that it wouldn't roll at all. Again, was the refill too small or the roller too big???? At any rate, the adhesive on the sheets does a good job of removing pet hair and lint. You just may have to be inventive in how to get it to work as it should. This problem was nothing new to me. I've had many other rollers/refills that did the same thing (and who knows? The next refill may work fine!) I've always found ways around this problem - that's why I deducted only one star.Update: I took away two more stars. The adhesive of the refills is still good, but NONE of them worked with the roller (fit too tight for the it to roll). Since I'm on my last refill, I decided to update my review. I do better with just tearing off a sheet, and blotting it on the item to be cleaned. I no longer recommend this product.

Good product. Works just as advertised. Does the job quite well. Very good for dealing with pet hair clinging to your clothing. Just to clear up some issues brought up here: when I ordered this it DID arrive with a roll of tape already attached to the handle. I didn't get just the handle only as others have complained happened to them. It may depend on who the seller is whether this happens or not. I bought mine from Amazon Marketplace seller Sun Coast Pet Supply fullfilled by Amazon. I also bought these as refills that fit this handle:  Evercare Pet Hair Extra Sticky 60 Layer Lint Roller Refill, Pack of 6  and they are fine as well. Overall good deal. Can definitely recommend them.

We have 6 cats and have noticed recently that regular lint rollers (3M, or generic) aren't what they used to be. They may pull cat hair off your t-shirt, but they aren't really pulling all the hair off upholstery (our corduroy couches, or the microfiber recliner). This roll is not only 10-15 sheets bigger than other brands that are the same price (or more!), but it's actually sticky enough to clean your shirt AND the top of the recliner all in one sheet. The plastic handle isn't that friendly as some of the others I've had (including an older model of Evercare, which I chose to take this roll off of and put on that handle). I look forward to buying the refills that Evercare makes and saving eve more money per sheet.

I have a pug who sheds like a whole coat daily. I was about ready to get rid of a loveseat that was one of his favorite spots to lay on and shed. Not wanting to lug a cleaning machine home to try to beautify an ancient loveseat, I purchased the Evercare Pet Extra Sticky and hoped for the best. Let me tell you that within 10 minutes and minimal amount of sweat, that loveseat looked better than it had in a long time. Even the seat cushion where he laid on a lot was easy to clean. I totally recommend this product for it's ease of use and spectacular results...

We use this mostly for removing pet hair from clothing. Works way better than other brands. With 2 pooches and 3 kitties we do use these!

I love this brand ... it is the only one that actually picks up the pet hair ... I buy it with handles from time to time, when a handle brakes, but mostly I buy the refills ... good quality either way, though.
