Audio-Technica VM95SP VM95 series 78rpm SP cartridge Grey

Good product and delivery.

Purchased as an additional cartridge for playing 78 shellac records on my LP120XUSB turntable. I already had the VM95 with an eliptical stylus, one of the best mid-entry level cartridges, which I have recently upgraded to a Microlinear stylus. The new cartridge is a perfect partner for the original, and is relatively easy to set up.

Gutes und preiswertes Schellacksystem. Klanglich sehr gut. Der Preis ist mehr als gerechtfertigt. Der Generator entspricht allen anderen aus der VM95-Reihe. Wer bereits ein AT-VM95 für Microrille besitzt kann auch nur die Nadel kaufen. TopTeil!

I purchased this to play a couple of historic 78s I picked up. Tested the 78s first with standard modern cartridge with narrow stylus, and then with this. What a world of difference! The wider stylus on the AT-VM95SP rode higher in the larger 78s grooves and picked up so much more detail and information. The sound was so much richer, fuller and far less noisy than with the normal modern stylus. Highly recommended for anyone dipping their toes into the world of SPs or 78s.
