Candy Color Paradox, Vol. 1 (1)

I’m not gonna lie, I was just on here strolling and bored asf with the need to just buy something. I was going to get the kindle version but I wanted to be more in tuned with the environment? Idk I just want the physical thing. I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS 😫😫It’s arrived in time, came in a protective plastic wrap, smells new, looks new w/ no damages, the plot is amazing, I love the art, refreshing and new (the description is one reason why I got it as well and it did not disappoint), I also bought book two the same time I bought this just incase I loved it I didn’t have to wait and I ended up getting the other 3 books after reading this so I can safely say the character growth is there, it’s cute funny and the sexy scenes be hot too, definitely a story to make you smile and love the characters. I’m currently rereading and manifesting book 6.🥴If I can I can I’ll come back and add some pics of the inside without spoilers:)

Ordered this manga for my best friend as a birthday gift. It came in on the exact day that it said it would when I purchased it and it came in PERFECT condition and came in wrapped/brand new. Will be ordering more for her.

I enjoy this mangaka quite a bit. She writes solid stories with compelling characters. Like most of her works, this is a slow burn romance (rivals to lovers). There is a natural evolution to the relationship and it’s not toxic. Each chapter has a good flow and balance to it. There is steady character growth as the story progresses. The banter between Onoe and Kaburagi is enjoyable. The overall story arc progresses nicely, and I am looking forward to the next installment.The artwork is on point. The translation is well done (Sublime does good work). The lettering and formatting (in general) is excellent.

I LOVE THIS SERIES!! its such a nice read. You won't regret purchasing this one. Make sure you purchase ALL current volumes 🥰

I love this mangaka, so ordering this was a no brainer even though I wasn't familiar with it already. It's adorable, and I really enjoyed the story. Clean translation, lovely art. Definitely getting volume two.

El envío llegó rápido y en perfecto estado, gracias.Compré 4 volúmenes de "Candy Color Paradox" en inglés porque, lamentablemente, no está licenciado en España (espero que algún día alguna editorial española se fije en las obras de Natsume Isaku, en especial en esta y en "Hanakoi Tsurane", por favor y gracias :D)."Candy Color Paradox" es una historia divertidísima en donde Kaburagi y Onoe acaban siendo pareja sin realmente quererlo. Ambos trabajan para el mismo periódico, pero son rivales y se detestan hasta el punto de poner trabas para ser mejor que el otro. El estilo de dibujo de Natsume Isaku es simpático y va acorde con el tipo de trama que combina partes serias con momentos en que la risa se desata.Los 4 volúmenes publicados hasta la fecha son bastante gruesos, superando en varios casos las 200 páginas. El volumen 5 saldrá a la venta a mediados de 2021.Muy recomendable para quienes disfruten leyendo historias BL en donde el humor está equilibrado en la trama con una dosis perfecta de escenas sensuales y explícitas.

Isaku Natsume is absolutely one of my favourite mangakas ever because she never misses with her characters and stories! Candy Colour Paradox is one of my favourites from her, and had been one of my very first yaoi manga years ago. I still remember how much amusement I felt reading about Onoe and Kaburagi's relationship, as they are both stubborn and bicker often, but adore each other at the end of the day (a refreshing change from overly sweet romances or raunchy stories).It's my delight that I finally could own Volume 1 of the physical manga! Upon opening my package, there is plastic cling wrap for protection. From what I see, there are no signs of wear and it seems to be printed in good quality. I'll update this if I find any problems later, but I can't wait to reread a series I love! :)

Eu não esperava muito desse mangá.. mas acabei me divertindo bastante, os personagens são bem carismáticos e a história vai se desenrolando naturalmente sem forçar em nada.Enfim, apenas leiam que não irão se arrepender! <3
