The media could not be loaded. Hi all, the old Cajun here.Now retired; I spend a bit of time at my home desk, and needless to say in my chair. The floors were carpet wntil just recently. I was using a floor mat, but the wheels never worked well on this flooring. Now I have wooden floors, and because the original wheels were cheep plastic, I had Concerns they would damaged the flooring. Saw these wheels here on Amazon and though I would give them a try. Well, I will say that I am not disappointed. They were easy to install and was 100% compatible with the wheel Stims of the original wheels. ( chair is a Serta ). After using these new wheels for about three weeks now, I find they perform wonderfully. Now the new wheels have a larger diameter then the original one, but this is not an issue, for you need only to lower the chair Height. The new wheels roll smoothly, and are very stable. The wheels are made of a soft rubber-like Material, and though at this time I am using a floor mat upon the wooden floors, I will be removing the mat for I believe the new wheels will not harm wood.As I write this, I will be ordering a another set for my good wife's chair.In closing, I do recommend this product.Hope that helps you-all.Keep safe.

Bought these to replace the wheels on an Ikea office chair.Unlike the Ikea wheels, these actually roll without friction. After a couple years of use, the original wheels barely turned, and the chair was practically stationary.Popped the old wheels off and installed these rollerblade style wheels on and hey, presto! The chair glides with barely a touch now. Quieter than the old wheels ever were as well.Great value, will see about longevity, but it's not like the original wheels lasted all that long, I just put up with them for too long.

These slipped right into the bolt holes in my office chair. Easy to install. Smooth, quiet movement.

Perfect for IKEA office chairs and easy to pop them in. Keep in mind that the wheel profile is higher on these than the regular plastic wheels that came with the chairs, so your lowest seat profile will now also be a couple inches higher.They roll super easily (too easily sometimes) on hardwood so be careful when plopping down into the chair in case you roll in an unexpected direction. Occasionally it would get a little stuck/drag on the floor when the wheels aren’t oriented correctly (the outer edge of the wheels isn’t completely smooth so there’s a slight drag once if oriented sideways).

I love these wheels. They replaced the original wheels from my Ikea chair. Very easy to replace. Pull old wheels off and push on new ones. They ride smooth as butter and I have my chair on a designed chair pad. Roll perfect. They are very sturdy and roll in all directions. I think the price for these is perfect.

I wish Amazon had suggested these sooner. I built my office chair out of a Nismo racing seat and an old office chair bottom many years ago. The wheels never rolled easily and were marking my hardwood floor. It took me 5 minutes to install and now my chair moves so fast I need to relearn it. Very smooth, very quiet. Best impulse buy I've made in a long time.
