Alpine North Women’s Short Down-Fill Winter Parka & Ski Coat with Vegan Faux Fur

Pros: the jacket fits well, hits me below the butt area which is nice. Love the hood it's very soft and adjusts easily. The fur lining around the neck feels sooooo good. The red color is very nice looking as is the black. Overall looks nice and ok for the price point. Cons: Kinda cheaply made, you can tell in the inside material quality and it's honestly not very well filled with the down material. Its pretty thin for what I thought it would be. A bit heavy in terms of physical weight (I think the bulk of the weight is from the hood) but I wore it around inside the house for 30 minutes and didn't even get warm which tells me this might not be the best option for below 30 degree nordic weather. The inside pockets are nice to have but they are super small and very poorly made and located.

We were just hit in Wisconsin with some WEATHER. Yesterday (daytime, sun was out) we had temp of -25 without wind chill, and -49 with wind chill. I was toasty warm out in this weather, and I spend a lot of time outside in and out of hospitals for work.I didn’t use a hat because the hood is so warm. I was actually quite impressed with this coat!!I do wish it came down to cover the legs. My legs were frozen between the top of my boots and the end of the coat, but this coat is warm. I imagine I spent anywhere from 5-20 minutes each time out in the -49 degree weather and along with good gloves and warm snow boots and heavy socks, did quite well. Definitely the warmest coat I’ve ever had. Arrived on time and in perfect condition.

This coat is very warm. I love the crimson color. The fur hood & fur collar around your neck feels so good without a scarf. It is made very well & with good material. The outside material is a cotton blend that is waterproof. There are 2 pockets inside for your phone & charger. My phone has a cover on it & was too big for the phone pocket, but would fit in the charger pocket. That is OK with me, because I won't be charging my phone in my coat. I can use the smaller phone pocket for something else. I weigh 125 & I'm 5'5" & I ordered the small first. If I wear a sweatshirt or heavy sweater it was too tight, so I sent it back & ordered a medium. It fits good. You won't be sorry you ordered this coat, & I love mine.

I have already received compliments on the red crimson color. There are many pros for this coat including:the color, the 18% cotton outside, the large side pockets, the soft hood, the warmth, and rib knit cuffs with thumbholes. I am very happy with my purchase, I was looking for a bit longer coat, 30", since I normally wear 25" short ski jackets. The XS fits OK, could be a bit smaller but it works. I am 5'7". I live in the Midwest so I have already tried it out in 25 degree weather and it was warm. I walk for an hour in this type of weather and have snow pants on etc. but it was nice and breathable. Alpine North makes a nice coat.

The Alpine North parka jacket is much nicer then I had hoped. The jacket is constructed well and is nice fabrics. Plenty of snaps down the front and the hood covers over your forehead. Inside pockets a nice extra. It's just so nice!!

I get tons of compliments on this coat. It is very warm, no wind gets through. I have the silver one. The hood is great, not in the way at all and perfect for those rainy days. It's the perfect length, just covering my bum. The only thing I will say is the interior pockets are small, a phone in a case will not fit. Other than that, this is the PERFECT cold weather coat. You won't be disappointed especially for the price.

I ordered a large, that is my t-shirt size. I also checked the size chart. I am 5' 2", about 170 lbs and small chested. The large fits me just right. It is well constructed and looks durable. It comes with extra button snaps just in case. I wish Alpine North could make this coat knee-length, but it covers my bum. This coat is so warm and comfy that my 7-year-old daughter has begged for one in her size. I haven't found kids sizes of Alpine North down coats, otherwise, I would've bought some for my kids! I love my coat!

I’m always freezing, so I knew I’d need a coat to brave the harsh southern winter this year. After wearing it several times to work and today while Black Friday shopping in the bitter bitter 44° weather, I’m pleased to say I did not shiver one single time, which might actually be a first for me. All jokes aside, this jacket is so warm and very attractive; I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it already! I’ve been able to wear a knit sweater, a flannel shirt, and normal work clothes under it all without bunching or feeling tight. The bonus “arm pocket” is a plus, especially today when I needed easy access to my cars for shopping! Highly recommend to anyone that hates when the thermometer drops below 50.

The coat is lovely and warm is very pretty on. Very pleased with purchase I bought red. Much nicer than boring black that I usually wear. Pockets are small inside but ok
