Only complaint as was previously noted by others tops are very red in stain. My husband fixed it with correct stain now matches perfect

Surprised you didn't have inside finished

The largest of these three canisters arrived dented. I contacted the seller for options to replace/refund me for the dented canister but it's been nearly a week and I've heard nothing. To pay $44 for two canisters that I can use is a bit steep. I do love the way these canisters look though and they are good size (not small), perfect to use in my laundry room for supplies. However, please note the inside of these canisters are very smelly. They have a strong smell of polyerethane (chemical). I rinsed them out and they still smell quite strong. You could not store food in these. UPDATED to include: I was contacted by the seller the same day that I completed this review. The seller apologized for the delay and defective item and was very generous in processing a complete refund for this purchase.

These look great in our kitchen. And best, my husband likes them, too. One lid had a crack in the stained wood (which is glued or attached to the part that goes into the canister. I squeezed in some epoxy; seems okay. The lid for the smallest canister is extremely hard to get off and put on again. I'll be sanding down the round piece that goes into the canister - once I get a better rasp. I'm keeping them, but the "distressing" and "rusticity" could maybe be eased off a bit and more to the precision end of things.

I do like canisters the only thing I didn't care for my the red lids ..I thought the lids were brown... also the insides of canisters aren't lined. So I painted my lids black which goes in my kitchen and add clean bags inside. Would I recommend them, yes They now going really good in my farmhouse kitchen.

I would show a picture but I only got to look at them try to fix the lids for a few minutes before having to rebox them due to the fact I’m in the middle of moving just wanted to label boxes/see if anything was missing or damaged . Anyways they are awesome besides being a little dusty but I planned on hand washing the containers anyways. But 2 of the 3 were scratched on the lid to point it is very noticeable, hoping a little wood stain will help because furniture markers did not.

I wanted to love these, but the metal is flimsy and the wooden lids were warped - they didn't sit flush on the canisters.

Two covers were missing. The one that arrived was in 2 pieces. Canister damaged, poorly packaged. Not worth the money. Returning.

These are a huge rip off for $82.50. They are tin cans with lids that don't fit and that are different colours. I am missing the lid for the largest container. For what these are - they shouldn't cost over $20! HUGE waste of money.

The lids are not at all like the pictures. There are red wood instead of the walnut color . Did not get what I paid for.
